That's so funny, I was seriously considering posting this yesterday.

I first read it a pretty long while back, and have given it a lot of thought.
I don't see things as working quite the way he describes, it's way too linear, hopping from one life to the next in sequence. I see it as happening all at once. But it still hints at something that rings true for me. Basically, to me the important part is the idea that we all share the same "soul", and all ARE each other in a very literal way, viewing ourself from different perspectives.
When you really see the world this way, it's very hard to have anything but love and compassion for everyone. I really wish something like this were the standard way to think of ourselves and others, rather than this egoistic idea we're taught of "I'm a unique individual soul that exists seperately from everyone else".
No direction but to follow what you know,
No direction but a faith in her decision,
No direction but to never fight her flow,
No direction but to trust the final destination.
