Hmm, well I'm vegetarian

If you're vegetarian then I would definitely consider the other supplements I mentioned before a trip. They are heavily heart supportive supplements which are apt to be in short supply in vegetarians: the source with the highest percentage of ALL THREE (carnitine [acetyl-l-carnitine is the best assimilated form], coq10, and alpha lipoic acid) is RED MEAT, LOL.

Live plants. Sustainable, ethically sourced, native American owned.

I would suggest this also. I have lived as a vegeatarian and for a longer more intense period as a raw vegan and even fruitarian and I understand the limits of all of those diets on at least my own body. I wont speak for other people but for me neither of those diets seem to be able to support my health to a point where I am thriving. It took a long time for me to figure this out though and I respect people for the choice and definatly understand the vegetarian and vegan choice. I was against supplementation the whole time thinking I was on a healthier diet and that supplementation should be unnecessary but in the end I really regret not supplementing because I came up short on nutrients..and as a vegetarian(still eating animals products but not meat) I tested 2 times with different doctors as vitamin deficient. This could have been a number of things but still..

I have actaully changed my opinion even on red meat SWIMfriend and think there is a lot of fear and misinformation going around, in part based how bad the industrial meat industry is and how low quality the meat it. I know that my body was craving meat bad when I was at the end of my vegan phase and I am still craving red meat. I am having trouble finding a source for sustainable bison that is both grass fed and non medicated..I will at some point though and then I will definatly be eating some red meat. My body has changed in some incredible ways in just a few months eating this way..lots of animal fats, wild fish, some chicken, raw grass fed cheese and lots of vegetables and some wild rice and tons of bone broth and a fruit smoothy every morning..best eggs I can find..Im trying to somewhat model something like an indigenous diet and it seems to be working. My back pain that I had for years at night when I breathed even as a vegan has dissapeared now in the last few weeks. I started running again as well and gaining healthy wieght back cus I lost a lot of weight as a vegan and got way skinny( I was always skinny though but not like this)..I have been eating a lot of raw cultured grass fed butter and coconut oil too for healthy fats..I just avoid veg oils and gluten grains. Seems to be working anyway.
Long live the unwoke.

^ I have two things to say regarding this:

1) What a human can live on =/= (necessarily) what will give a human OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE. Living is one thing, and one could probably live a lifetime as a fruitarian. But body functioning CAN be optimized in any number of ways, under any number of conditions, by the addition of some nutrients--and sometimes in quantities one might have difficultly in matching by just eating. Athletes have demonstrated the fact of that.

2) I'm quickly coming to the opinion that optimizing health through both substantial exercise and careful diet may greatly assist in the ability to navigate heavy psychedelic use. In addition to my own short experience, I have in mind antrocles, who has remarked how he more or less took a DMT vaping breakthrough experience EVERY DAY (often with some salvia thrown in!) for, what, a year or more. While doing that he was a rather high level athlete--and it's easy for me to believe that someone in lesser condition probably couldn't have handled that. I also think that psychological hardiness is increased by challenging physical workouts.

I'm beginning to have the idea that a dedicated hyperspace traveler needs to focus a LOT on gaining truly optimal physical fitness.

I've had a very different experience with the vegetarian diet; I've found I actually feel much better physically and mentally! I feel far more energetic, less stomach problems, my brains feels less 'fogged', and a clearer conscience too! However, this may be partly due to a generally better diet since cutting meat out...

I think the idea of optimal fitness is interesting; I'd certainly agree that a high level of fitness does wonders for the brain (good vitamin/mineral intake, confidence etc.) And naturally our bodies want to be pushed! We should be out hunting for food, working long hard days, trying to keep warm - now in many parts of the world that's all been forgotten and people become unhealthy (physically and mentally). So it makes sense to me that high fitness = happy brain = happy trippin'! Smile

hello HappyHippie

i just saw your message on this thread,
https://www.dmt-nexus.me...spx?g=posts&m=396677

HappyHippie - this was a very interesting question as i too am thinking to try psilocybin but am worried about heart palpitations.

please message me and maybe we can support each other
- because i too have suffered from anxiety like symptoms since i was 16 years old but doctors cant find anything wrong. now, im 41 years old

- i took my health into my own hands and changed my diet, lifestyle etc which helped.

- i still can get palpitations but i deal with it or like you through self management tools or, ignore it best i can!

but i dont know how it will effect me if i try psylicibin mushrooms which i want to try,
