I was wondering if any members would be able to point me in the direction of any good chemistry books relevant to the extraction process.

I know little beyond high school chemistry so nothing overly complicated please. Thanks in advance

Did you try the FAQ? The "where to start" , plus the links on the bottom of it, have a great sum up of the chemistry involved in extractions.

If you don't find it in the FAQ the Search function on the top right is great as well.
