Hello fellow earthlings

Witnessing a speech at the The Interdisciplinary Conference on Psychedelic In Amsterdam, I became even more impressed by the DMT-nexus. Coming to this forum for some time now to be informed and read on people's experiences, seeing the presentation inspired me to make contributions to this gigantic project that DMT-nexus is. While a lot of speeches at the conference where fascinating This speech stood out because of the "opensourceness" of the data. I myself believe very strongly that a revival of the exploration and intelligent use of psychedelics in general has to go hand in hand with the fight for an open non-restricted and free internet.

Hoping to be of any interest to this global effort i present myself here today.

sincerely
Ben.

Welcome to the Nexus, Ben.

I admit I'm jealous you were able to make it to the conference and see the Nexus presentation as well. Glad to see it was inspiring for you! The open nature of the forum is great. I love the various backgrounds and perspectives that are shared here, it allows for some great discussions. Hope to have some future discussions with you.

If you havent seen them already the Wiki and FAQ (top right corner) are huge resources created by some members and give a great overview of everything DMT.

Have you had any experiences with DMT before? Interested or performing any extraction teks? What sparked your interest in psychedelics and DMT?
Im interested in hearing a bit more about your background if you would like to share.

How do you feel an open internet could help promote responsible, safe, intelligent use of psychedelics? Personally I think you have a great point with that. The Nexus is a fine example that I'm incredibly grateful for. It stresses harm reduction, intelligent usage, safe/sustainable personal extractions, and promotes the spread & expansion of facts (and mind boggling theories) which are things I wish I were exposed to in my teens. Back then I knew only of the skewed/exaggerated facts on both ends of the spectrum, drug war vs dealers. Can't say I would have utilized as I do today, but I think exposure to this attitude would have been very positive for me.

Welcome!

Over and out fellow earthling. Peace be with you.
The inner soul is full of joy. Reveal my secrets and sew me whole. With each day, "I" heeds your call.
You may not care the slightest and may not be the brightest, but from here "I" sees you're mighty for you created it all.

And the jumbling sea rose above the wall.

Through this chaos comes the order you enthrall.

Hello Ben/anoniem,

Welcome to the Nexus! So glad to have another member who found out about us at one of the real world conferences. Very happy

Yeah, we'd love to hear more about you and your psychedelic experiences (if you have had any) and how they have changed or affected you (if at all).

Also, I'd like to encourage you to take a big look around here. Really take some time to check out all the in depth filled subfora as well as the wonderful links in the upper right hand corner of your page. These things like wiki (extraction teks), FAQ and Health & Safety are very valuable and filled with a lot of information that was written by people in the know who really care.

Again, great to see you here, and a very warm welcome to you!
