Hello all, I’m obviously new to the forums and the overwhelming prospect of DMT. My friend introduced me to the idea a few months ago and it seems like I’m a little late to delve into this experience, but I am optimistic that I will find what I’m seeking eventually. Bad timing on my part to actually start researching it around the time that it seems impossible to obtain it especially as a newbie. I’m a seeker of visions and knowledge to the extent of finding new mediums that would facilitate such results. I’m surprised I didn’t know of it sooner.
I keep an open mind to all things in life and try not to fall into any conceptions of life in order not to be fooled. Believing in something so much only to be dis-proven would make me feel like a jackass. As a fellow human, I don’t like my mind set in stone only to be proven wrong at any time as history teaches me. You never know what will hold true with time. Our knowledge is ever-changing and I thrive for that wealth of knowledge.
That being said, I was very intrigued to learn that a trip to hyperspace could be life-changing in the sense of how we view our reality, life, etc. To be honest, I am a little frightened/excited to lose a sense of reality, but all that goes away with the promise of an “eye opening experience.” It’s something to be respected in my mind.
Sadly, I have not experienced hyperspace, but am looking forward to the trip once I’m there. I haven't had much luck. I will keep researching other possible routes until I reach my goal. I was hoping all the commotion with it would be a by-product of the upcoming elections, but it seems that’s something they’d crack down on after the elections. I don’t think it’s widespread enough to be a plausible target though. Hopefully things will turn around, but I will be searching other routes in the meantime!

hobobrown, Welcome to the Nexus. Thank you for that introduction. I'm wondering if you might be willing to tell us a bit more about yourself such as what psychedelics (if any) you have tried to date and what you made of it, your interests/studies, etc. Be sure to take a good look around - lots of good info. here. The upper right hand corner of the Forum contains invaluable links packed with information about various ways to extract DMT and other entheogens, as well as other things such as a well thought out and researched FAQ and an indepth Health & Safety section. Again, welcome, . "But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."-Rick Doblin, Ph.D. MAPS President, MAPS Bulletin Vol. XX, No. 1, pg. 2Hyperspace LOVES YOU

Hello again, my name is Todd and I work IT at a place I should never be doing these things, but I feel I must. My hobbies are being in nature on my mountain bike as much as possible and building liquid cooled PCs. Ah yes, I guess I forgot some of the most important introduction info. While my experiences with psychedelics aren't vast, I have experimented with LSD, san pedro, salvia, and psilocybin. The most profound experiences were with LSD and salvia.
LSD was an interesting experience to say the least, but I think I had more of a phsyical high, cuz hallucinations were more subtle. Lizards and other small animals were crawling under wallpaper and it looked like the carpet was quicksand for my legs and hands. Every object seemed to breathe. A good experience overall lasting about 8-10 hours before coming down. It was the most intense psychedelic experience I had until I tried salvia.
Salvia I tried a few years ago in 2008ish. I tried 20x extract with only taking one good hit the first few times with little effect (other than feeling weird and my legs all sweaty). It wasn't until I decided to take about 3 big hits to really have a huge effect. That's when I saw a fraction of my vision had another plane of sight if that makes sense (I really don't know how to explain that part). It reminded me of casino night from Sonic the hedgehog with all the bright colors.
I've been dabbling in San Pedro with little luck. I recently decided that I MUST extract it chemically to be worth the time that I put into it. So I've been researching extensively. Same with the psilocybin. I'm not sure if the my eyes hurt from dilation or just the lights I'm always around when I do psychedelics.

Wow - liquid cooled PC's. Sexy! My husband, who is a bigtime PC gamer would probably orgasm in his pants if he saw your work, Thanks for sharing that information about yourself. Your description of LSD sounded spot on to me - it doesn't typically induce visions, just big distortions, including of body sense. Home extractions are exciting and can be very fun. I believe you are going to be in for a treat and surprise if/when you try DMT. "But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment.
