Hello everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself. I have frequented the forums for some time, and now that I have had my first experience I decided to officially take part in this forum.

I recently had my first experience with DMT, and since then my entire view of the world, universe, consciousness...everything...has changed. Although new to DMT, I am not new to the psychedelic experience. I have mainly used shrooms for the last couple years as a tool to better my life.

I plan on writing up a full report on my experience of smoking a very high dose (100mgs at the very least, most likely more), and I hope you all can take a few minutes to check it out. I am still trying to make sense of my experience (from what I remember), and I would love to hear any feedback, particularly those of you who have experienced such a large dose.

Looking forward to chatting with you all!

I thought I should add that in no way am I bragging or advocating such high doses. To be clear, I was unaware until after the experience of high high the dose was. Being my first time, I trusted the person who administered it because of their experience and knowledge with the drug and extraction process. Also, I technically smoked it twice. The first time the bowl contained 100mgs, however because I was so nervous and because I had a hard time with the particular device used, I was only able to get one half-assed pull. Being in that space I was aware I didn't take enough and the feeling of disappointment permeated my being. It was very emotional. I was only gone a few minutes.

Anyhow, because of that I tried again a few days later. The smoking device was changed and 80mgs were added to the leftover bowl from the first time. I was able to clear the bowl in 3 hits and I barely recall the last hit at all. The entire thing lasted about 25 minutes and apparently my eyes were open for the majority of it (which was very startling and surprising to hear since my physical reality was completely GONE.

Without going into it much further here, I can honestly say that the next time I am able to experience DMT I would prefer a MUCH lower dose. Intense, overwhelming, and suffocating are words that come to mind automatically when I think about my experience. Although it wasn't a BAD experience, it wasn't very pleasant at times and most of it I don't recall whatsoever.

I just wanted to clear that up in case it came across negatively.

I'm curious to hear about your experience with such a high dose.
A good product will baffle me at ~30mg.

The only time I've done around 100mg, I wound up blacking out and falling.
(I was sitting but not on an appropriate piece of furniture)
I can recall no normal DMT experience but rather a dream-like experience where I was Link
in the original Zelda (from NES ya know Very happy )

Do you recall anything ?
I am 100% convinced that my search for answers has led to nothing but more questions.

Eclia,

Welcome to the Nexus and thank you for that introduction.

I cannot wait to read your trip report - I'll bet it was a wild experience.

Be sure to take a thorough look around - so much to see here - from the packed with info links in the upper right hand corner to trip reports to rich and indepth subfora.

Again, a warm welcome to you and please yes, do post trip report(s), impressions, questions, as they come up. . . .

I do recall quite a bit, although certain parts are just completely gone. A lot of it is very hard to describe, and to do so I have to break the trip up in parts or phases. I'm actually in the process of writing up the entire thing which is taking a lot of focus and time. It's definitely one thing to replay it over in your head, but using words and language in general to convey something so ineffable is challenging lol.
Describing the visuals themselves is so hard because I remember them but I don't at the same time. If that makes any sense.

When I'm finished I'm going to post it and I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Do you recall how long your 100mg trip lasted? I can't seem to shake the sensation of "eternity" in 25 minutes and the absolute and complete disconnection of what I always thought made me ME and the physical world, with what I really AM. I thought I had an understanding of this through shrooms, but my DMT experience taught me that I know nothing. It almost seemed like the universe was saying to me tauntingly "so you think you know? Here, I'll show you what I/We/It and everything that has ever existed on any plain of existence, can do!"

I had lost all concept of my physical being and of the physical world I live in. Since, our physical world feels so dense to me, so hard and solid. I have more questions about why we exist here and why we are having a human experience on this planet then I did before.

Hey there. First of all, welcome, glad your here too. I was in your shoes nearly 2 years ago. Its amazing to say the least, what I would suggest to you, and take it as you please, is to take your time. I often found myself rushing into each thing way to fast and missing many valuable lessons.

I also found that a lot of the 'knowledge' being passed onto me does not have a lot of relevance to this dimension, just as say, my cell phone, having any relevance in hyperspace.

Enjoy, show respect and let us all know how you go!
