like crazyhorse I stopped smoking a few months ago. my memory is insanely better, I enjoy it a lot more. i recall every night's dream and I use them as indicators for what's happening in my waking life. I've put a lot of the mental pieces of the puzzle together as well, which to me is just as psychedelic as anything. I read more, work out more, got my diet better. Not trying to start an infomercial or anything, but taking a break has been super rewarding for my mind, body, & soul.

I recommend daily smokers to take on the terrence mckenna diet of once a week large dose rather than constantly toking.

I believe the reason that we can't seem to remember the deepest details from the breakthroughs and the reason the memories we do bring back seem to fade is that we are not experienceing these events with our physical bodies. Since we are experiencing these events with our "spirit" if you will, the memories are not recorded into our brains. As we are anchored back into our bodies, and we begin to experience the physical world with our physical bodies again, perhaps we simple let go of the "spirit" memories. Or perhaps when we journey outside our physical bodies again, the "spirit" memories are there waiting for us. This would explain the feelings of "This realm, event, Entity, etc., seemed familiar to me" that some people report.

I definitely get that same feeling, going into it I remember thinking its so familiar and i'm finally home. And then coming back I always remember having had the thought, its time to leave and I know I can't bring any of this back with me.
