Fellow Travelers,

I am very eager to explore what this super-forum can teach me. A life-long friend/entheogenic mentor of mine has consistently referenced knowledge he has gained from the insightful members of this forum. My curiosity with entheogens has blossomed rapidly since I was first urged to attempt meditation and reflection while using LSA. That was my first experience with a psychedelic. Now I have experienced LSD, multiple psilocybe species, a handful of RCs and some different brands of Molly. I have been offered Ayahuasca brews and DMT, but I have held back for a few reasons. I respect the entheogenic purposes of psychedelics and I don't want to abuse them by simply trying to trip as hard as I can, while suppressing or overlooking possible introspection. Contrarily, I am looking for guidance, and before I can look as far inward as I would like to, I need to expand my horizons and converse with like-minded people who can teach me more about the wonders of DMT, brews and other substances akin to these. My journey has barely begun, and I am ready to listen.

Thanks,
The Sagacious Scholar

Welcome to the nexus! I think it's great you've waited before doing DMT to better prepare, it is a very special substance and deserves the respect - glad to have you here! Smile

Welcome and stay on that mindset, DMT has often the interesting habit of giving back according to how much you've placed on the table before.

Read lots, take your time, keep us posted Smile

I find you there, your arms surround me, your spirit fills me and it grounds me.
I look to you, Lady of Truth, most ancient One, yet eternal youth,to keep me safe, protect my heart, and with the wisdom you impart, fill up my empty mind and soul,so that, my Lover, you can make whole, all that was broken in this day –and that is what I ask and pray.

So much respect for you, based on your decision to hold back. I was incredibly naive when wanting to "jump in the deep end" with DMT, it's good to give it the respect is deserves.

Welcome to the nexus.
