i have had many lsd trips, acid, mushrooms and k. the psychedelic experiences and visuals are usually awesome although i will say i have had a couple of bad trips as well. to the point i would really want to try DMT and Ayahuasca, but just don,t know where to start. it all seems a bit mind boggling unless your a chemist that is. i,m at the stage where i am seeking a spiritual experience or to open the pineal gland. any advice would be most welcome. i.m in the uk just how hard is it to find people who even have heard or tried these is difficult. thanks

Hey there, Glad you reached out! I can relate to your experience entirely. I found myself in very similar situation. I was completely baffled, and frustrated. It was impossible to find, and the prospect of making it seemed overwhelming. I am in the US, i know the supplies (some of them) can be hard to get in the UK. My advice to you is to make it. It's too hard to find, and if you do, too hard to determine quality. It is not nearly as hard as some of the guides make it seem, and you absolutely do not need to be a chemist. It is important to understand the basic concepts, meaning what each ingredient is actually doing and safety things, but the advanced chemistry knowledge is not necessary at all. I would recommend using noman's tek http://www.erowid.org/pl.../mimosa_chemistry1.shtmlIt is intended for people who are not chemists. A couple words of advice: *Don't use a quart jar. It's too small, you won't get enough and it's hard to scrape that little of the coffee filter - it tends to melt and get lost. Start with a 2L jar. *Invest in a separatory funnel. it's worth it. *Ask questions before - don't wait until something goes wrong AND Most importantly, when you are ready to try your spice, be mindful of set and setting even more than you would be with other psychedelics. You need (IMO) a quiet, dark, safe place. Any outside noise or stimulation will prevent traveling out of your body. Last advice: make yourself a machine. (google it) it is IMO the easiest, most effective way to smoke spice. You take a hennessey bottle, poke a hole, fill the neck with steel wool. Put your spice on top, heat the neck so that the spice melts into the steel wool. then you are good to go. SET AND SETTING! Good luck!!! Are you ready to die?

^^^ Great advice. Don't be so scared to do an extraction. It's more like cooking than chemistry if you think of it that way. I myself like to visualize what is happening (the chemical process), but I am no chemist either, and its really not hard at all. The hardest part is sometimes finding the materials needed. If you can make meatloaf, your all the chemist needed. "Energy flows where attention goes" [Please review the forum Wiki and FAQ before posting questions]

I've sent you a PM as I'm also UK based. My theory with it at the minute is that 'IT FINDS YOU' not the other way around. Be patient and it finds it's way. I remember asking about it 4-5 years ago, reading a little about it too, then it seemed to be a forgotten memory. 4-5 years later I'm sat in a room with two of the best people I've ever met in my life about to launch into a world beyond my wildest possible dreams. One can drive himself to madness in the obsessing goal of reason, without the knowledge of love and laughter.

It will save you. Are you ready to die?

A gravy separator will work but it will be difficult to get the entire layer of NaOH, and it is harder to get it CLEANLY. If you are going to do an ammonia wash (not recommended) it's fine. ReX will solve too, but if you have a sep funnel you can keep swirling and separating layers until the NaOH is so clean you don't even need to ReX. The yield tends to be higher as well because you are pulling from the MHRB twice each round..once in the jar and once in the funnel. Are you ready to die?

strange_loops, in the above post you talk of NaOH and getting "the entire layer", i dont understand what you mean? or have you mistaken the naptha for lye?

The hardest part is sometimes finding the materials needed. If you can make meatloaf, your all the chemist needed. "...more like cooking.." Very true, in fact, i think it would be harder to make a decent apple pie than a successful Noman extraction lol... the "hardest" part is getting all your supplies toether... the lye can be tricky to get and is a "watched" chemical, thanks to the meth cooks.. so ordering that online may not be the best way to get it. You can't do anything about yesterday, but you can do everything with tomorrow.
