Hey there, welcome!
I mean this in a positive way: it's best to be a little scared. It keeps you smart. What was your set and setting like? Perhaps that could shed some light on the nature of the experience you had. It sounds like you experienced the scarier side of the DMT death experience. I think a lot of people have similar experiences with DMT. One bad experience can do a lot of damage. Some people stay scared for life, which I believe to be a mistake. DMT is incredibly different than other psychedelics in the way that it is less like one is hallucinating and more like one is being shown things. They come in many different forms, different for everyone. Elves, angels, spirits, native americans, whatever.
We are being taught by these things, and the lessons we learn can sometimes be very, very scary. If we try to get away from the idea of 'punishment' and instead think more about what we were being taught, and perhaps why, the experience can go from bad to productive. I have had some terrifying death experiences with DMT. That being said, I have learned so much from all of them.
I'm not sure if this will help, but for me, the lessons is in
the letting go.
When I let go, accept the death, accept whatever it is around me and stop fighting, clenching, grasping for control, the experience is amazing. It is always difficult, and it is always worth it. Perhaps something to keep in mind for your next trip, and in life in general.
This is all just from my experience of course, I don't mean to state anything as fact!
Anyways, I applaud you for being courageous enough to try again. I don't think you'll regret it
And making your own is a great idea! it is a very rewarding experience and is not as hard as it seems. I highly reccomend Nomans tek.
Safe travels!
Are you ready to die?
