I like to read. A lot. I figure more information is good, but the possibility of bad or misleading information is huge. I just bought a few new books to read as I'll be laid up for a bit (and a book is easier to read than internet/electronically on my phone):
"Plant Spirit Shamanism: Traditional Techniques for Healing the Soul" by Heaven and Charing;
"The Ayahuasca Visions of Pablo Amaringo" for the art; and
"The Shaman & Ayahuasca: Journeys to Sacred Realms" by Don Jose Campos.
It seems that with so many experienced travelers, that collectively we've probably read (or written) most if not all books on DMT, the psychedelic experience, plants, their uses, extractions, shamanism, spiritism, spirituality... etc., and maybe you all might have some opinions to share. When faced with the potential great number of books that could be read, what would you recommend? What did you find valuable from the book, the author?
Would anyone care to contribute to something like this, if it doesn't exist on the site already, or could you point me in the right direction to find it here? Somehow, I am not sure that I would trust the Amazon.com reviews to guide me to make the best choices.
Thx, Julz
