I recently found some chaga across the street on a black birch tree. here take a look. while this is not an id request b/c i'm really sure this is chaga and black birch; if you feel otherwise please tell me. i'll be preparing it tomorrow after it dries etc.

the second pic from the bottom; that branch to the left is part of the tree. it has the distinctive bark more than the main trunk

will do, i've heard that you need to dry it first. i was thinking about chaga, turkey tail, and pine needles. sound good?

A friend of mine found a few pounds of chaga aswell that iam about to get a nice chunk of.

But what exactly does it do that is so great?
