Also, here are a few of the existing tracks that are 100% me on the beats/raps. I don't rap much but here are a few examples of my white boy stylez. lol.

Yes sir. I spent a large part of my late teen/early twenties OBSESSING over hip hop.

I obviously could go on forever with the links but i just wanted to give a little peek into my taste for anyone who might share my likes!

I haven't heard the new brother ali but i'm a big fan. My favorites from him are shadows on the sun and the champion EP.

Nah i haven't heard that! dope!

Yeah take a listen to my stuff when you get a chance. Don't expect much from my rapping though. I kinda just do that for fun and really enjoy it! But i don't really take my rapping seriously or anything. Just a hobby of sorts. I've got tons of tracks from over the years but those are a few of the better ones. Very happy

Really my favorite thing to do is make beats though. That is why i want to upload this remix album thing i was working on last year. I'll just zip up all of the remixes and post the link to the rar file. I think some of you may enjoy hearing new takes on some classic songs!

Here is a video of me screwing around on the MPC. I found an Immortal Technique Acapella and decided to play a live beat over it. The sample is from a 70s heavy prog/psych band called SEOMPI. Basically i was playing the drums and triggering the samples at the same time. This was the first time I ever recorded myself doing something like this and while it may be a little rough, i had alot of fun doing it! Sound quality is a little sketchy but check it out anyways. lol. : )

And here is a splice i made out of a Common song called "Go" and that adele song "rollin gin the deep"

I spent more time meshing the two vocal tracks together than i did on this beat. pretty simple track but I like it. hopefully you do as well. : )

In this video i like to think that i am destroying both genre's of music simultaneously. most of the time they are pretty corny. This is the only other video i have on youtube at the moment so screw it. I figured i'd post the little snippet. haha.

..at last..some psychedelic hip hop (from california)..

(thanks to Darren S. for the tip-off)

any more psychedelic leads out there? (regardless of style)

this one's ok too:

time for hip hop to breakthrough, and out of the urban chains, to a new rap hyperspace..

cheers for those nen, I will give them a listen when I get home

check out "First Born" and "The Many Faces of Oliver Hart" by Eyedea and Abilities, they are very good albums and are both based on metaphysical/psychedelic themes/concepts.

there's a snippet of from "First Born" in my sig

Surprisingly a lot of good hip hop dropped in this thread. Surprised I haven't seen any Living Legends, Jurassic 5, Kno, Murs, Sadistik, Devin the Dude, Busdriver, or Tonedeff.

Small sample of things I didn't see that I'm into...
