So I haven't worked with Mimosa in a while. I've spent a lot of time in the last year getting really good at making Butane Hash Oil. I've got a digital laboratory vacuum oven and pump setup that cost me over $2000. It works amazingly. Sadly I'm in another state but it has since given me the idea of doing this with my other extracts.

So what I do have here, is my old Pump-n-seal. I used it to vacuum my BHO before I upgraded. It can be a pain but it does vacuum about 28/29hg, almost a full bar.

So, I pretty much did the last part of my extraction ALMOST EXACTLY LIKE MY BHO VACUUM PURGE

I did my normal extraction, an A/b, lye, and Xylene for my solvent.
I evap'd and scraped up, and placed it into a smaller pyrex dish (About 3" or 4"Pleased.
I then placed that small dish in my kitchen oven on the lowest setting 170. (This is again how I did my BHO)
I let it melt back down and watched as bubbles formed, rose and popped like the BHO bubbles do. I left it for several minutes in the oven, and then removed it and quickly used my pumpnseal directly on the small pyrex dish. It pulled up and popped the rest of the bubbles and I was left with a nice looking extract that smells very good. There certainly isn't any solvent left in it.

I've been wanting to do this with my vacuum oven for a while. But this was the first chance I got to try it out. It worked great, and I'm really happy with it. I'll be doing the rest of my extracts with any type of solvent in them this way (Or with my actual vacuum oven)

Just food for thought, I really like it as extra assurance at least.

Here is something quite similar and may not be such a pain. Basically you buy a $20 bike pump, disassemble it and reconfigure it so the hose is a vacuum rather than a air outlet. Manual, but it works. Check out how this person attached it to a jar to create a vacuum. could also hook hose to a vacuum type of erlenmeyer flask

DIY - convert Bike Pump to Vacuum pump
