Hello Community,

Let me preface by stating that this is an absolutely remarkable community full of hundreds of interesting, intellectual, and creative individuals. I am completely honored to be a member of it.

That being said, I would now like to propose a brainstorm effort of sorts. It is my belief that there are other realities beyond the one we play our normal lives out in. I think that a vast majority, though not all of you agree with this sentiment. However, I find that when I mention it to someone who has never had a transformative experience they obviously think I am insane. Though I try to assure them that the theories are sound as most other theories on reality and that insanity of this grandeur would typically accompany extreme cognitive dissonance, of which I believe I also have none. I'm sure many of you have the same experiences so I'll cut to the chase.

As a community comprised of many intellectuals, I'm sure most of you know that basic research is derived from two distinct models. Empirical Experimentation and Observation. Now it is my understanding that there is no possible way to conduct valid or reliable experimentation while in other realms of being. However, we do have plenty of observations. I have seen many threads trying to understand, relate, and share observations. Which is great and hopefully some analysis can eventually come out of these observations to produce a road map of sorts.

Now though, I believe we should look towards opening another source of study for these experiences. Because we can no longer trust or perform experimentation in other states of consciousness, a tool we have relied upon in this reality since the age of Cro-Magnons. We should begin to harness the creative and intellectual potential of this community and brainstorm for a new logical model of reasoning.

A daunting task to be sure. However, even if our efforts are not fruitful at least they might stimulate thought for other ideas. I hope to see everyone post, please don't hold back. To invent a new model of understanding is not an easy feat by any stretch of the imagination. So even they silliest ideas may strike gold.

In order to accurately describe what you are talking about, I would encourage you to create your own jargon, as long as you can define it for everyone else to understand as well. The English language is so limited when trying to describe such states. Much like Columbus needed to invent new words for the plants and people he found, we must do the same in our even harder quest for the exploration of consciousness. I have seen the wiki with entries for entities and what not and that is almost exactly what I am talking about. However do not limit yourself, in order to reach this lofty goal many people will have to self-actualize, that is to say, reach their highest potential.

I was going to put some pointers for starting to think about new models of understanding, but I don't want to even remotely limit you to my perspective. Hopefully at the very least we can show the world that we are serious explorers, that psychonautic pioneers are searching for it's scientific roots. A noble cause.
