That would be the case, assuming that both of the compounds mechanism of action were identical, which they are not. There isn't much information on the mechanism of action of 25I at the moment, but its affinity to be an effective vasoconstrictor would make this compound extremely dangerous at doses above 5 milligrams, some individuals are more sensitive than others.
Just as a case of an extreme DOB overdose(50 to 100mg of material, which is roughly seventeen to thirty three times the max effective dose of 3 to 3.5 milligrams) where an individual required a leg amputation due to severe vasoconstriction, I think it would be safe to say that at the very least vasoconstriction, convulsions, and eventually gangrene would become a serious risk if one EFFECTIVELY ingested anything over 15mg of 25I.
I've read a report of a person who claimed he overdosed 25B-NBOMe with 30mg, who was fine after the experiment. I've also heard of complete physical disasters at dosages around 4-5 with 25B-NBOme, and was witness to a person who took ten milligrams, about an hour into their experience they started convulsing and not responding. They were treated at the hospital for a "suspected LSD overdose" and released two days after hospitalization.
Claiming to have taken 10-30mg of 25I, though most likely done ineffectively in the sense that most of the material was probably wasted, is extremely reckless, and users should not assume that these are safe dosages for these compounds.
I've taken 25I intranasally and bucally, at doses ranging from 1 to 3.5mg, and I honestly see no need to go above 3.5mg with this compound. It is a FULL BLOWN psychedelic at 2.5mg.
“The most compelling insight of that day was that this awesome recall had been brought about by a fraction of a gram of a white solid, but that in no way whatsoever could it be argued that these memories had been contained within the white solid. Everything I had recognized came from the depths of my memory and my psyche. I understood that our entire universe is contained in the mind and the spirit. We may choose not to find access to it, we may even deny its existence, but it is indeed there inside us, and there are chemicals that can catalyze its availability.”
