I'm thinking about starting a journal for dmt.

Experiences, extraction notes, plant IDs, MAOI info, and anything else.

Does anyone else keep such a journal?

I'm thinking it will be good reference for myself.
And make it much easier to post quality info to The Nexus.

Any thoughts? Concerns?

Thank ya kindly

Good idea! It could very likely help along the way, similar to a dream journal. At least in regards to experiences...

The extraction notes, etc. I don't feel is something I would make a hard copy of. Although that too could come in handy.

a daily journal can profoundly change you're life, and i'm not exaggerating! Try recording dreams, synchronicities, oddities, ideas, trips, big events, etc..and after a while (especially after years) the connections you find in you're life can utterly ASTOUND you. I've got hundreds of pages of manic madness writing and little has influenced my life as much as turning my mind inside out in this way has. Even just going back and being humbled by the incredible syncronicities or dreams i'd long forgotten occurred makes it all worth it

it can be like a psychedelic experience unto itself Thumbs up

It's a great idea! I've kept a regular journal for the past 7 years. I don't know the type of person I would be if I didn't keep a journal. The fact that I can get whatever feelings out at the time so they're not clouding up my brain is catharsis.

I just started adventuring into hyperspace and have been keeping a journal of every breakthrough. Don't know what kind of results it will yield but I can imagine that since they're so abstract to begin with maybe a picture will begin to form as time goes on...

I was wondering the same thing about extraction notes.
Any further thoughts on this?
Self incrimination? I mean if they came knocking at the door, I'm not sure the journal is what I'd worry about.

This is a really cool idea, but I wouldn't write down anything to do with extraction. Too much evidence... unless you come up with some ultra cryptic short-hand for notes. Maybe that's what the Voynich manuscript actually is! Some one's ancient DMT extraction notes! Extremely cryptic so the fuzz wouldn't know! Although I doubt the fuzz of the 15th cent. would care... Haha!

I have kept a trip journal for several years now. It's fun to go back and read. I also kept a dream journal for a very long time. Since I was 10 or so. I don't know where all my old books are now though. Probably at my parents' place. I keep a travel diary when I travel places too. That's pretty fun to do and it gives you something to do when you inevitably are stuck somewhere for hours, read: airport. Haha! I have a whole book filled of my first solo trip overseas. There's some crazy reflections in there! Smile
