Hello everyone! I'm a progressing psychonaut interested in the works of the mind and how psychedelics intervene with that. I'm from TN, although I live in Texas. Most of my personal views do not match regular perspective among the southern boot of america. You can call me Arcadia Smile
This seems like a very nice community and I'm happy to be posting here!
Looking forward to meeting some of you interesting individuals!

Welcome to the nexus, Arcadia. I hope you may glean information/wisdom/perspectives here that help you on your way.

Howdy there Arcadia. You kinda did the exact opposite of the way I introduced myself hahaha. Because I mostly talked about why I liked the south in my introduction the other day. I love TN its a great place and real friendly folks there too. I'm curious what you meant by you have a different view than most people in the south.

SpearFisher - I loved Tennessee, do not get me wrong. but for the past six years living in Texas has been awful.
I don't remember having near as many negative experiences with people in TennesseeSmile although i lived in a sort of smaller city and everyone knew everyone. People were still close minded.

Macre - I have experimented with (most more than a couple times, mushrooms being 14 times and salvia been 9 times)
LSD, various different genus' of mushrooms, Salvia 35x standardized, 2c-i, lsa, and 5-meo-dalt. Presently, I am in possession of Anadenanthera peregrina and soon some 25i-nbome. (and a few deliriants/dissociatives that I am not exactly proud of using before)
Researching and learning about these chemicals is always a must-do for me, to reserve a comforting, tranquil experience. I'm also avidly meditative, especially when expanding the consciousness further. I believe this is what makes up most of my pleasant experiences with hallucinogens.

Thank you for the welcomes! I'm happy to be here Smile

You must not be in Austin then, you might find yourself feeling much less out of place there. I doubt your 'personal views' would seem very unusual. I lived there for awhile it's a very hip college town with lots of young people and a very active art and music scene, incredibly liberal and "weird" for anyplace in the south let alone Texas. It felt to me like someone had smuggled in a piece of the west coast. Very happy But yeah if you're anywhere else in the state its pretty much the worst.

Very true Crazyhorse! I have a couple friends who go to college there and they visit sometimes and they apparently have some of the best acid and molly! Denton is nice too. I live in a very annoying city about 30 minutes from Dallas.

Welcome home.

To be taken in a figurative sense - someone welcomed me elsewhere like this so I thought I'd write something different to the usual messages Smile

"I am what I am. In having faith in the beauty within me I develop trust. In softness I have strength. In silence I walk with the gods. In peace I understand myself and the world. In conflict I walk away. In detachment I am free. In respecting all living things I respect myself. In dedication I honour the courage within me.
In eternity I have compassion for the nature of all things. In love I unconditionally accept the evolution of others. In freedom I have power.
In my individuality I express the God-Force within me. In service I give of what I have become.
