Hello all,
Yes, yet another new member. I found this forum via a link from the ayahuasca forums, where I am a longtime lurker.
I have a long-going interest in entheogens, most notably ayahuasca and Salvia Divinorium. I've drunk ayahuasca a few times, 2 times in Peru, while attending the 4th Amazonian Shaman conference.
I am a longtime grower of Salvia Divinorum, and have useed it often, as a quid, fresh or dried. I have a special inyerest in trying to make a Salvinorin A preperation, possibly using cyclodextrins, and noticed a posting on this subject.
Lastly, I hope to gain and share some knowledge on thee subject.

Well, I still have some HP-ฮฒCD to try to make a Salvinorin-A complex, but am lacking in lab-equipment. Still looking for good ideas...

Welcome threeleaves! Very cool that you've already ventured down the path of aya, especially in South America. Were you planning on dabbling in the smoked variety? Or a possible extraction? Hope your stays a long one

I've smoked DMT before, but am unsure if I want to do it again (maybe with a MAOI taken beforehand; I've done a succesful Manske extraction). While quick and intense, I seem to like aya more. Once you've drunk in the Amazon, nothing really compares... I hope to return one day. The plants explained to me that returing, just for a trip or high is not recommended (for me personally), and I should have a specific reason for drinking.
Because autumn is the season for fresh Salvia leaves, I'm more focused on them; considering to chew them 5 days in a row, as a sort of diet.
Hope to give and receive much information....
