string theory is bull man, get with the times lol
in a sense i think it has the right idea though, where some important stuff (i.e. the ability to reflect photons, or its existence in dimensions) is based on the amount of energy present in a particle or anti matter or w.e and with that does come a frequency say of vibration or you know its wave-like movement. idk but temperature would play a critical part in all forms of matter/energy (think 0 Kelvin/viscosity exp.)
This is the place.

^^There is virtually no experimental evidence to disprove or prove string theory so its not bull.

All in all interesting article I am very interested in seeing some experimental evidence for or against string theory.

If you like the theory of relativity I can see where you would fall in love with string theory. I dont try to act smart enough to say if they are right or wrong but there are things I like and dont like about it. I cant say Im a fan of multiple dimensions but thats just my opinion. But you cant realy say its all bullshit too because on both sides of the matter until there is definate scientific proof one way or the other it is all just theory. Same way there is still debate about the theory of intelligent design and evolution.

Actually there is no serious scientific debate about evolution versus intelligent design. All the debates you hear about in the media are purely for political purposes not science. Evolution is not just a theory. There is virtually no piece of evidence that contradicts the overarching claims of evolution. Evolution doesn't explain the origin of the universe nor does it necessarily explain the formation of the first life forms. But once life gets started evolution completely explains how complexity can arise through processes like natural selection (as well as some other complicated gene transfer mechanisms that I won't get into). Everything we have learned about molecular biology and DNA etc since evolution theory was first invented confirms just how true and powerful of a thoery it is.

Same with relativity. Relativity has experimental evidence that has proved its an aspect of nature. Of course there is more to it and there is still a desire among physicists to unify relativity with quantuam mechanics but none the less the overaching ideas about relativity are true.

Hahha all good man. I just like to clarify things especially the evolution issue because its one that is so distorted in the media especially in the U.S.

Saw a really interesting documentary on m theory and parallel universes (I'll dig the name out from my hard drive at some point). Basically saying that parallel universes are occupying the same space as our universe, but on different membranes and therefore imperceptible to us. Because matter is created from each specific membrane, they also don't affect ours in any way.

Like you say, it's all completely theoretical and in this case definitely be proved because by definition they can't interact, but it fits in nicely with what I've felt from Sally and what my friends tell me they've experienced from D.
