Figured I'd finally get around to making an account I've been a lurking ghost here for sometime now. But I recently had my first and only to date DMT experience and was amazed! I had actually done 7mg of 5-MEO-DMT and for the first minutes it took all I had to not freak out, but I've done shrooms for many years and called upon my experience their for strength. After the initial intensity when my body became accustom to the sensation it must have been the most astonishing and profound experience in my life. Just then it was like a light bulb went off like "this is what you've been searching for." I did it at night in a field I'm lucky that way as I live in the middle of nowhere and was mesmerized by the stars, sheer bliss. I hope I can give back to the community that's helped me so much, while I'm not well versed in DMT yet, any of the odd shroom question that I see pops up I'll certainly help where I can.

Sounds like you had selected the perfect setting, I love smoaking changa under the stars.

Oh yes I'm all to familiar with The Shroomery, been a member their for years. Just finally took the DMT plunge. I'll try to stay as active here as I am their and I'll try to post some 5-MEO-DMT trip reports for any and all interested. I'm currently waiting on some mimosa, once I get it I'll also try and do some N,N-DMT+5-MEO-DMT combos reports.

I'm really interested to hear of your experiences with 5-MeO! Thats something I'm really wanting to try her e before long. After reading Orocs account of his 5-MeO adventures.. I'm all that more intrigued.

While I've only smoked 5-MEO twice that one night so far it was similar to an extremely intense mushroom buzz, anyone who's done a psilocybin extraction would be some what familiar to the visual effects. However it does have an extreme and intense onset and body load. You'd definitely need to be ready for, almost like Salvia but more extreme. their is also this weird nauseated feeling, it's not to bad but you do need to overcome it. after that pure euphoria and incredible thoughts. I don't want to say to much yet as i'm no expert but I will try to post more after the week-end.

I'm thinking of doing Noman's Tek this first time to become familiar with the process. However I do have a problem maybe you guys could help me out with. I live out in no man's land and can't find pure Sodium Hydroxide anywhere. I can find Ro-Tyme Crystal Drain Cleaner but it's not pure Lye, It also contains Sodium Carbonate. now would this still be a suitable substitute for pure Lye as I'd be washing my solvent with the soda ash anyway or should I just buy some Lye online.

Hi man, and wellcome! curiously I began my entheogens experiences with 5-meo-DMT too,and achieve my first breakthrough with that substance...have you read Tryptamine Palace from James Oroc? Great book. Cheers

Hey Guys, some more insight in to my 5-MEO experiences.
The dose was increased this time from 7mg to 11mg smoked in a glass pipe on a bed of high grade kush.
This was definitely much more intense than the last time and the body load was extreme, so be careful when weighing up your doses.
Their was no breakthrough, but definitely some strong feelings of egolessness and dissociation, like last time only more intense.
the nauseated feeling one experiences was more apparent but still easily overcome.
their was some uncomfortable head pressure during the initial minutes but it wasn`t to bad and quickly faded into a feeling of euphoria.
No real visuals with eyes open just a sort of blending of the visual field, and a full spectrum kaleidoscope image with eyes closed.
I find that the initial minutes are almost unpleasant, but then a feeling of joy washes over you and there is not much I can in all my years of experience with shrooms really compare it to.
I`d definitely encourage anyone contemplating 5-MEO to take the plunge, but approach it with respect it is quite intense.
And the for sure best setting is at night under the stars and just let your mind go, amazing.

I've been refraining from smoking the 5-MEO as I have only minimals left, but more then enough from some testing.

So I finished my extraction today, I was in no hurry so I let my naptha pulls sit for like 12 hours each got 1.68g from 117g of mimosa. I'm impressed for my first dmt extraction ever. I used 100ml of naptha then evaporated down to 50ml and put in the freezer, the naptha turned really cloudy once it hit the glass storage jars almost like milk and water mixed. I placed it all on a scientific hot plate set to 50 degree Celsius during the pulls to hopefully increase yield.
Then RE-Xed in 35ml of warmed naptha and got some nice fluffy crystals.
I've got some pictures if I configure out how my new camera works I'll post them for anyone interested.

But I've got a question if I may, did leaving the naptha in so long increase yield or just extract more impurities. It was rather yellow before I washed with soda ash and Re-Xed.
