I have had lyme and have been struggling with it for a while now. I take kratom and other herbs just to be able to function and get my day-to-day tasks done. I've had a moderate history with pharmaceutical opiates and a short stint with heroin so I tend to look at them in a negative way.

I am afraid that my use of kratom and other medicines I might take in the future might interact negatively with the psychedelic experience.

I guess I am just wondering if anyone else has gone through an illness/chronic pain and how has it affected your psychedelic use?

For example, I cannot eat mushrooms anymore because I have allergic reactions that seem to be brought on by lyme. I am also allergic to many foods.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Hola,

There are some Doctors on here that might be able to give you some input...hopefully one of them will chime in.

For me personally mescaline pretty much cured a chronic back pain issue I had for a few years.
And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not percieve the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, "brother let me remove the speck from your eye", when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye?-Yeshua ben Yoseph

I have chronic gut pain from congenital IBS. DMT always relieves my symptoms somehow. It never cures the IBS, but it makes the pain and any discomfort magically vanish.

Sometimes I get the feeling i should not be using psychedelics because I am ill. Sometimes it also seems like a fallacy though too. IDK, maybe I just need more experience.
