I love Sigur Ros. I first heard of them about two months ago when I met with my university mathematics department head, who was to advise me of my mathematics career path. When I walked into his office, he was listening to Sigur Ros. The first thing I said was "What is this music?" with a sly grin on my face and he replied with the answer and I told him that it was good music to do while working math (secretly thinking that it was good music for taking DMT). His reply was "Yeah that, that and a Saturday night in a hazy room". I nodded my head as if to imply that I understood and we went about our meeting. I was taken aback at this seemingly straight laced guy who was listening to hippie music and talking about "hazy rooms". Life is funny sometimes. Due to the odd series of circumstances that led me to his office in the first place (which I wont get into), I felt strangely like I am exactly where I am supposed to be, doing exactly what I am supposed to be doing in life. Weird. Any way you slice it, it is good music for deep thought though, and that's what I like about it.

With a bit of luck, his life was ruined forever. Always thinking that just behind some narrow door in all of his favorite bars, men in red woolen shirts are getting incredible kicks from things he'll never know. - Hunter S. Thompson

Sigur Ros is an old favorite of mine as well, listened to them many a times while on LSD, and while not on LSD as well. Razz

Smoke some DMT to that, and enjoy transcending nirvana and becoming Brahman Razz
“The most compelling insight of that day was that this awesome recall had been brought about by a fraction of a gram of a white solid, but that in no way whatsoever could it be argued that these memories had been contained within the white solid. Everything I had recognized came from the depths of my memory and my psyche. I understood that our entire universe is contained in the mind and the spirit. We may choose not to find access to it, we may even deny its existence, but it is indeed there inside us, and there are chemicals that can catalyze its availability.”
