Hi everyone!

Really looking forward to interacting with you on this forum.
I've been a "spiritual seeker" all my life (I'm 30 when writing this) and this has brought me to visit India a couple of times to stay at ashrams. The search for "enlightenment" has been strong in my life and have in the recent years subcieded a great deal and become much more grounded and realistic. The inner experiences have made me who I am today and has given me a few glimpses of existence beyond, before and without the "I".

I still love exploring deep states of counciousnes, do meditation and am very interested in everything having to do with DMT and various mind-altering substances.
Interacting first hand with likeminded people who also have the personal experience is as good as it gets! I'd be happy if you accepted me as a full member of the forum because there are very few other places I can think of that would give me such a great bunch of interesting people to interact with.
If you actually read everything, thanks for taking the time! Smile

Welcome Pleased I am also new here and just browsing the introduction section.

How many years have you been meditating for? If you have experienced using DMT i would like to ask is there any similarity between the beauty of meditation and DMT as i always seem to assume they have some sort of connection in the spiritual world and that states induced by DMT might also be possible to reach via meditation?

It’s very dynamic, like the flow of water that travels through a stream leading to a river and flowing out to sea. It is fluid, molding, ever changing and adjusting to its environment as it maneuvers itself around obstacles.

Welcome to the forum! This place is certainly a diamond in the rough.

You seem like your well grounded based on your intro.

Have you experienced dmt as of yet? What's your experience with other psychedelics?

Do you plan on an extraction?

Once again, welcome! Smile

I've been meditating for more than 10 years. I have not experienced DMT yet. Part of joining this forum is also a part of researching DMT and being able to talk to /ask those who have Smile
BUT, I am very certain that the states reached be DMT can be achieved through meditation, either as an experience here and there, or as something you build up to over many years of meditation. Certainly out of body experiences etc that I'm having is one of the things experiences through the use of such substances.

No DMT yet, as I wrote in a reply to the other post, joining this forum is a part of researching DMT and being able to maybe interact with those who have. I've tried some shrooms and it was pretty cool feeling like a sun of love in the chest and seeing the patterns emerging from a blank white screen Very happy

More than 10 years wow! I can appreciate you are quite experienced in the subject. Do you work with chakra's?

I think it would be interesting to see what someones thoughts are when they having experienced OBE's through meditation rather than substance use. (Am i right in saying this or have you indulged in other psychedelic substances to experience a OBE? Or maybe you would class the experience you had with shrooms to be on the same level.)

If you don't mind me asking what do you hope to gain from a DMT experience?

10 years isn't that much. I know someone who is at 40+ years! Smile
About the chakras well.. I do third eye meditation (eye-brow chakra) the most and every now and then I work on an overall balance of all the chakras. There are powerfull chakra balancing exercises that can trigger kundalini awakening experiences.
From DMT I hope to get help with removing the vail between this "dimension" and see through a higer state or dimension the things hidden from our frequency spectrum that we can experience. Smile

They weren't a Tibetan monk was they :O haha.

I myself am fairly new to meditation yet I do find a infinite amount of interest behind it.
Have you yourself experienced these kundalini awakenings?

I remember the author of a article I was reading on the power of sex (that sounds really bad) referring to kundalini but read on without really researching it much further. How long do you usually meditate for?

Sorry about the barrage of questions I hope you don't mind too much Razz. I would be interested to know if after you take a trip with the DMT dragon you can make sense and meaning out of the visuals easier than other members of this forum.

I wish you good luck on your travels Pleased.

Yes I have experienced Kundalini awakening. It was during a retreat and we did a meditation or chakra meditation called Ananda Mandala. It caused me to cry my eyes out, laugh hysterically and feel my heart chakra open up which gave me a feeling of such deep love for everything. It was fantastic.

When I meditate I usually have a program consisting of 30 minutes of single-pointed focus on teh third eye and then 30 minutes of letting go completely. The second part is what has caused a couple of OOBE's.

I dont mind the questions at all Smile

Hi BlueVortex,

Welcome to the Nexus.

Not much I can add to what is here other than check the links in the upper right hand corner of your forum for invaluable information, including the wiki link which has extraction teks.

Also, you mentioned a desire for full membership. Though you are a New Member and restricted to posting in the welcome and collaborative research areas, just log on and you can see the entire contents of all the other forums.

The path to promotion to full membership basically just involves posting and being yourself, giving the mods a chance to get to know you and understand that you understand the rules and culture here. There is no equation for promotion beyond that. No minimal number of posts or minimal time period to qualify (such as on other forums). This place is different.

You sound like a deep being who will most likely find many friends and places here that encourage you to stay. At least I hope so and again, I welcome you.
"But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."
