I've been a casual lurker for a year now. Typically, my interest in things die off by that point--it hasn't dimmed at all. So, it's time for an intro post and registration!

I've no experience with psychedelics of any sort. I've never even been high, haha. However, there is this pull that ayahuasca has had on me for the past year and a half. Part of me needs it, for whatever reason, and it won't relent in letting me know it. It's as though something is trapped within and sees it as a key out. I'm hoping that the brew will be the key or at least help me find it for myself. However, from what I've read from here and everywhere else: it'll show to me what I truly need, even if I've no idea of what it is--which is an exciting thought to me!


Ask any questions if you've got them; I'll be glad to answer them to the best of my ability. Aside from that, thanks for letting me lurk and for helping me find the right stepping stones!

Hey man welcome to the Nexus. I've never tried Aya but I plan on it. It's nice to greet you, and I wish you well on your journey. It's interesting to me that some people go straight to Aya without ever trying more common entheogens. My girlfriend tried spice before doing any other entheo, I worried it might be too strong but she loves it.

Honestly, it'd be easier for me in nearly every respect to go with the more common ones. I'd have the availability and a sitter. Funnily enough, DMT/Aya are the only things that they refuse to sit. The part that is pulling me is telling me that I've dodged a large bullet. I can't disagree with it, for some reason.


There just isn't any calling coming from them, though; it's just a bucket list sort of deal.

Joking aside, welcome aboard. I have dipped in and out of things in my time also. I see it as those things provide me with something I need at the time, then I or they move on.
