What are the principle differences between dmt(spice as I see it refered to here?) and salvia divinorum?

A better question or easier question to answer might be.... What is the similarity??? As far as I can see the two are as different as day and night... In fact for me to list the differences might take up several pages. And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not percieve the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, "brother let me remove the speck from your eye", when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye?-Yeshua ben Yoseph

You probably couldnt have given a better answer. Thank you
Is that to say the place one travels to is a different "location" using one versus the other?

You could certainly say you end up somewhere else I've noticed anxiety, dissolusion, and destructive thoughts in my salvia experiments instead of clarity, healing and divine encounters that I've had whilst vaping spice. maybe im a big puss, but most of the people i know who have tried it don't like it and all of the people i know who've smoalked demitri LOVE, even worship the stuff thelastdinosaur attached the following image(s): Pix 165.jpg (78kb) downloaded 90 time(s)."People ask, 'DMT sounds so crazy, is it dangerous?' To which the answer is; Only if you fear death by astonishment." - Terence McKenna

I would say, N,N-DMT (White) is the purest form. Spice (Yellow, Orange, Amber, Red, Brown) is a collaborative array from all the psychoactive alkaloids of Mimosa Hostilis which can yield a particularly different yet similar experience as opposed to pure N,N-DMT. It still contains N,N-DMT but as stated above, has a spectrum of other alkaloids. Salvia to me is similar in some ways in that it can rip you from your body, but feels dirty and un-educational, and not nearly as overall beneficial as N,N-DMT or Spice. "Hardonfordrums" does not exist. All information given out by this character can not be trusted, nor taken truthfully. Simply she is a complete and utter fairy bitch who tries to be "informed".

Psychedelic drugs seem to remove "limitations" of the brain/body... If the brain is seen as a tool of the mind...
Imagine an ocean flowing into rivers then streams... The brain could be a flow control management tool... with its own autonomous functions... A dam if you will that controls where/how much the water flows....
they all seem to temporarily alter these "limitations" in various ways...
perhaps dmt leaves a certain "manager" for making sense in a different way (less fearful) than salvia... All i can say is from my limited experience it would seem the inhibitors left for processing this information are distinctly different...
Like they both allow a huge increase in the flow so it can be overwhelming but the flow controllers that remain are different.. of course person to person would be different as their associations (emotions tied to) the parts that filter the stream before they perceive it...
eh this is worded poorly... been drinking too much coffee lol... ill rephrase later

I would VERY much describe this as my salvia experience the two times I tried it. In another post I made I describe a "trip" I have been falling into lately that is very similar to peoples descriptions of dmt trips. These voyages have b somehow naturally set upon by what I think is the other side trying to contact me for something. I have considered maybe some kind of underlying health issue causing it but no, check out clean. I want to know more about it but do not have the means of extracting or locating any substance(s).

^ Interesting. I mean salvia is a psychedelic... Did you use all natural salvia, or the extrated (5x, 20x..) stuff? "Hardonfordrums" does not exist. I accidentally posted this twice and now there are two discussions going!
That is an excellent metaphor! The wording served the concept to me just fine, Thank you

Extracted. 10x I believe. I didnt even finish the rest of what I have left.
The effect was a disgusting feeling. Like my energetic body was simply covered in a thick muck and my vision was crushed to a dark singularity. Even with my eyes closed. I got very hot, sweaty, and "itchy". Very bad

ahh nice.. and ambiguous wording seems better sometimes.. for you have to make sense of things in your own way.. make your own metaphor for something and you will understand it much much better
Anyway if you see "information" as passing through filters upon filters upon filters before we "perceive" it...
You can see the mind as a filter above the brain... the technology a filter below the brain...
The more you temporarily reduce "brain function" (limitations but also help make sense of) the more you may be able to "train" your mind to take on functions of the brain... Something about the scales seem to change... Mind is more powerful than brain so to speak...
To the point (but it doesnt stop here) that you see all drugs as placebos... and you learn how to trigger aspects of their effects without physically having them... in other words learn to better control the "knob turner" of the specific flows of "water"
As i say all this... I am no authority however... I have much to learn within these concepts... state of mind can still get out of my control sometimes lol

I know exactly what you mean, I did some 40X one time and i literally couldn't move to save my life. I was bound the the black couch i sitting on and laughing my ass off for no good reason with my eyes closed with nothing visual happening. I WAS the couch. There was also this uncomfortable tingly sensation along with it. Apparently you can get all natural organic salvia leaves which are much different than that shitty extract stuff. "Hardonfordrums" does not exist. All information given out by this character can not be trusted, nor taken truthfully. Simply she is a complete and utter fairy bitch who tries to be "informed".

word. Thats kind of what brings me here. Ive never experienced dmt or anything else other than salvia those two times so I have nothing to draw from when I find myself in "there".

its like you have guides or middle men... minds above your mind that are with you on your journey through the experience...
many variables.. type of psychedelic how much state of mind before etc...
i think with dmt and salvia (strongest ones within collective understanding as far as i know)the gap in you and the middle men seems bigger... mushroom for example the middle man is closer it seems.. of course many variables...
ex:
mushrooms: 1000100001 you middleman source(info above middleman)
dmt/salvia 100000000000000100000000000000000000001 you middleman source
actually though i see the middleman of dmt to have a better relation to convey the information to me than salvia... of course very limited salvia experience for me (was afraid to try it again lol) almost like they use different ways to show you.. dmt more toward "love" (i guess that is what you might call it) salvia more "fear" again just the best way i can put it within my own subjectivity
it seems all perceptual interpretation of the relativity....

Try to think of the initial uncomfort like salvia, but after you pass through the uncomfortable stage and absolutely let go, from there its free riding wherever you may be. Very visual, very full of ecstasy, and very enlightening. It's unpredictable, and i learned that well. "Hardonfordrums" does not exist. One could also experience fear on DMT as well... It's way more unpredictable "Hardonfordrums" does not exist. All information given out by this character can not be trusted, nor taken truthfully. Simply she is a complete and utter fairy bitch who tries to be "informed".

very true... i think state of mind..unconscious variables may play an important role in either

Love and fear are the two ends of the spectrum. They are duality incarnate. In their many intensities (fear, anger, hate, infatuation, joy, love, etc...) They are all that is to be felt.
That knowledge was given to me on my first visit. It has made a dramatic difference in how I handle day to day life and my "moments"

Has anyone had any kind of "flashback" or revisitation to a particular trip during a nights sleep in recent memory?
Recent being about 7 years or so...
Without smoking or drinking anything. The whole experience rerun in like ten seconds or more
