Hello all, thanks for reading my introduction.

First off I have to say I have little experience with exogenous psychedelics, and have never tried DMT in any form. When I was younger, I dabbled in mushrooms and LSD with mixed results but that was over 12 years ago. I was never really compelled to explore further (as many of my friends did) and soon travelled a different path towards meditation. There arised in me a definite internal compulsion towards meditation along with seemingly external synchronicities which foster continued practice even to this day. I can't even imagine what my life would be like without my practice and insights gained and am eternal grateful for being shown the way.

Anyhow, I have noticed strong synchronicity in my life again and the familiar internal compulsion which all point towards DMT (almost like the universe is yelling "Hey! Hey! Over here!" with blinking/flashing lights). Just researching the information and reading about others experiences with this enigmatic molecule puts me into a very warm pre-meditative state. Reading numerous experiences on this forum I am in awe of the intelligence, love, and reverence going on here with many members. The feeling I get is of being "home" if that makes any sense, and I haven't even experienced DMT!

I plan to take my first journey in the next couple of weeks and would greatly appreciate any advice for a first timer. I am interested in launching from as close as I can get to a state of samadhi (concentrated meditation) with the goal being to integrate my experiences into my primary meditation practice and thus out into my life. I know I can't TOTALLY prepare myself but I would like to attempt a positive experience.

Thanks for reading and for any advise you have. Be well and be safe!

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Hello ExpansionMirror, welcome to the Nexus! That's a really interesting background you describe- psychedelics, followed by years of meditation. No doubt that gave you a unique opportunity to really integrate your psychedelic experiences.

I'm very curious to hear about your DMT journeys!

Thanks Guyomech!

I'm thinking changa or enhanced leaf vaporized would be a good intro for a newbie such as myself. Smile
