Well I've whipped up another batch of tea, and this time it is going to be safe to drink. I soaked and boiled for days, and it should deliver the goods. Anyway, I decided to throw the spent cactus powder covered in distilled water in my stainless steel pressure cooker for 20 minutes, and I must say it seems to be a very effective way of preparing tea that is not only more energy efficient, but possibly more efficient at extracting the alkaloids and much less time consuming. I've racked up quite the energy bill over this past month, so this PC method is of great interest. If you consider the cost of san pedro powder and then the energy costs of preparing tea, it becomes an incredibly expensive journey.

Will the pressure cooker method work with ayahuasca as well? Or anything for that matter?
