the ammonia wash is not recommended...

a simple sodium carbonate wash is more than adequate to remove any traces of lye/rootbark that may remain... this should help... that FAQ is pretty damn amazing...

Thanks! Please forgive my friend's ignorance she wants to know if any lye/rootbark could possibly be in the yellow powder? she was careful not to get any of the lower solution in the collection jars.

this site is amzing..thanks so much to the gurus that be! i've looked and can't find so i'll ask..after 1st pull w naptha using noman's w/ 100g mhrb SWIM noticed it was a lil murky, put it in freezer anyway, the next day, after precip, there were the regular white snow globes on the jar's sides but on the jar's bottom, there were regular snow globes sitting on top of this yellow flakey stuff. what is the stuff? was it too much base solution in that 1st pull that separated out in the freezer? (subsequent pulls were normal) and, is this stuff consumable?

Once the flaky stuff is dry, do a re crystallisation on it and if its dmt it will disolve in warm naptha and if its not it will separate to the bottom.

im gonna be doing the quite popular noman tek and ive read it needs "1,5-2x the amount of water with pre powered bark".
First i wanna know...why is that? I dont really understand
Second, do i have to add more lye also if i use 1500ml water instead of 750ml ?

I've looked and searched all over for this specific technique.

I don't know the steps exactly, but it involved a shot glass, hot water, naptha (no access to heptane.) It was a pretty simple thing.

It was on the wiki a few months ago, but seems to have been replaced by a more complicated procedure involving charcoal and multiple containers.

After doing a handful of extractions with naphtha, i stopped being able to get it. So i had to get heptane. I never looked into it, i just replaced naphtha with bestine in my stb tek. First pull was okay, got nice big white crystals, but with some dark red goop.

Then i noticed one of the jugs solvent layer was dark red while the other looks normal. I have no experience this is, so any help is much appreciatted. I just want to be able to save the one jug because i have half a pound of bark in there :/


The one on the right separated perfectly like normal, while the one on the right has not.

looks like an emulation. Try adding table salt (the non iodine kind) at approx 75g

Eye have come into possession of some Jurema root powder and Caapi vine powder (as well as Syrian rue seeds) and am wanting to brew Ayahuasca. Having only smoked DMT in the past, Eye lack knowledge and experience with the brew. Are the powdered products found online ok to use??? If this topic has already been addressed could someone kindly refer me to the thread?

I want to try smoking DMT but don't want to try using some complicated device and mess it up and not get any. Plus there's no way I can afford to buy a GVG or vaporizer and making my own device just seems too complicated. I don't have any DMT anyways, but hopefully some day I'll have enough money to attempt an extraction, and I can always try to find other people in my area who like DMT and they can make it. How would I use a regular bowl to smoke DMT? The only one I have is a honeycomb pipe and I doubt I could use that, and the only lighter I have is a bic lighter and I'm terrible at using lighters I always burn my thumb, I can't ever get the angle of the flame right

I use a normal glass weed pipe I bought at a gas station, but honestly the other methods are probably better.

If you do want to use weed make sure you compose it correctly.
Small amount of weed, DMT, weed on top. You do not want any DMT on the top.
DMT burns very easily which is why this way is not the best. So do not bathe the bowl in fire, just kinda let the fire touch the top of the weed.

While weed for me calms me down, for others it clouds their experience. I have also discovered certain strains of cannabis block various trivial affects of DMT like the body high.

I love this method but I am definitively getting a GVP at some point.
