I'm new here as well. Always love talking to other gardeners. Feel free to throw any questions my way and I'll help if I can. I might be throwing some your way soon (just ordered a P. Incarnata and have no experience growing them). Only a few find the way, some don't recognize it when they do - some... don't ever want to.- Cheshire Cat

I'll get around to posting more pictures, grow everything in pots since live in the city with a deck for outdoors.
top one is the Yopo, its about 5 years old and only about 3 feet high. It's a funny grower, shoots out a bunch of growth then dies back. I just left it inside, near the window to see how it grows. Never got it to produce seeds, maybe another 5 years?
This is the second year growth w the passionflower grown in a 3 gallon pot with potting soil. Its growing healthy and pumping out the flowers this year.

Welcome PlantPlants, Congrats for your beautiful green friends, you did a great job! Looking forward to see a photo of the Yopo plant... Btw, tell us more about yourself! Have you ever tried DMT? Have you ever used the Chacruna for a brew? Peace Listen to a man of experience: thou wilt learn more in the woods than in books. Trees and stones will teach thee more than thou canst acquire from the mouth of a master. St. Bernard

That is an amazing garden you got going on PlantPlants! Keep it up ! I want to start growing as soon as possible! I just need a few more materials! Is there a significant difference between home grown salvia and store bought salvia when you smoke it?

Welcome to the nexus! Is that your peyote cacti growing in the pots? That's a beautiful Topo tree. have u got any pods off of it yet? And have from a grower to another have u considered growing mushrooms? Reality is nothing more than you make it. So use your mind and recreate it.

Love those pictures! I always find it fascinating to see what people around the world can grow. In my climate it remains a mere pipedream, at least for the time being.. Welcome to the nexus anyway! If you have any more pics please post 'em.

Quote:Btw, tell us more about yourself! Have you ever tried DMT? Have you ever used the Chacruna for a brew? Took part in a few Ayahuasca ceremonies when traveling in S America, I actually didnt think I wanted to, was just supporting my traveling friend when we ran into the offer. But realized "why not" this was a rare opportunity and did it. Wasn't dissapointed to say the least, that experience reopened my interest in plant teachers which had been ignored for a good decade or so. Ive been growing the plants since then and have brewed some mild experiences but I am in no hurry, been waiting until these plants get big and strong and to offer me some leaves. Quote: Is there a significant difference between home grown salvia and store bought salvia when you smoke it?
A year ago I went through a process of smoking alot of lab grade salvia, and in the space was told that if i wanted to learn more: grow & chew. Had tried to grow Salvia maybe 5 times before and the plants would never last long. After this message the plants have been growing just fine and giving leaves. I dont think I have anything else to learn from smoking Salvia extract. Growing your own is always best! Quote: Is that your peyote cacti growing in the pots? Havnt gotten any pods from the tree yet. 5 years and still waiting. Its a small tree, it kinda boggles my mind how it grows. Closes leaves at night so nice to watch. Quote: it may take a while to grow but you could definitely plat some Caapi seeing how patient you've been with your peyoatay. Nice work. you should check out this fascinating book called The Secret life of Plants -
I just got a small cutting of Caapi, def gonna wait for that. Hanging out with plants watching them grow for years is one of my fav things. Being around them is a deep learning experience, Ive had some of these plants talk to me while I sleep and ask for changes in certain conditions. Yes to the secret life of plants! When I read that it changed everything and from there took the plunge into Radionics. Thanks for the warm welcome evryone.

Ive manged to grow my original plants from leaves by burying leaves in loose potting soil and leaving 1/3 of tip exposed and keeping them in high humidty area (like in a empty fishtank) I planted 15 of these in small pots and 1/3 of these survived, it took MONTHS for them to shoot new growth out. At this point these plants (3&4 years old) keep sending up new growth which I just dig up and remove from root system and replant in new pot. Once they are established they are strong plants. I keep most in 3 gallon pots out side from Spring-Fall and carry them inside for winter. Ive been wanting to grow Brugmansia, usually throw datura seeds & N. Rustica seeds in empty lots around here in spring. Ive seen Rustica growing out of the cracks of sidewalks.
