I haven't yet done a sweat before dmt, in fact, I haven't done dmt without being under the influence of nicotine and thc at the same time.

I like to work out alot, mainly the heavy bag and speed bag nowadays, I have a membership at a ymca and they have a steam room as well as a dry sauna, sometimes I spend hours hanging out in the sauna for 15 minutes, then taking a five minute break, always drinking something that replaces sodium and potassium, I like the vitamin water revive. It's yummy. You can also just drink plenty of water and eat bananas, but keeping your potassium is essential to avoid dehydration.
After the sauna I usually go home and make myself a big bowl of beans, rice, chicken, and a whole ton of fresh veggies, and eat some fruit for dessert.

I regularly get five days off work in a row because I work 12 hour shifts, So I was thinking of doing a three day cleanse, With a nice dmt trip when my body is completely flushed of all that crap.

I figured the first two days I would eat beans with big fruit and veggie smoothies, lots of greens, Stay full on that stuff, then the third day just fruit and veggie smoothies of course I would be working out and taking nice long sauna sessions throughout the whole three days.

*NOTERazzlease be very careful if you're going to use a sauna, especially if you're not used to regular sauna sessions. People die in saunas, but ony because they don't keep the proper nutrients, and they dont listen to their bodies. If you at any point feel overwhelmed in a sauna, TAKE A BREAK. Until you feel comfortable to return. if your only goal in the sauna is to cleanse toxins, there is no need to put yourself through hell doing it.

Does anyone on the nexus do this on a regular basis?

Thanks for reading. Smile

*+*+ EDIT:

I have gone through the sauna cleanse, followed by a few straight hours of low dosing, followed by the ending hyperspace trip, and a continual consumption to continue wandering through the confines of hyperspace drifting back long enough to take another hit, I will soon be posting a journal in a single thread based on these experiences.

I'm glad I've got the nexus to share with. I love you all. Smile
Death is an awakening. . . One day it will come.
But you'll search the skies with your eyes in frantic wonder.
You will come to realize the lies you've told yourself for so long to survive.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Hey Parallelwhispers,

I like your thoughts on the subject in regards to preparing yourself for the journey. I too try and maintain an active lifestyle. Mainly lifting weights, weekly trail running at just over 10k, and rock climbing(my favorite) Thumbs up Everytime I use the sauna(dry) at the gym I come out feeling completely rejuvenated. The skin feels truly amazing, so purified! I can see this leading to an overall greater experience due the release of endorphins from working out and feelings of self accomplishment. I feel way better after an intense workout and clean meal, add the sauna and it's that much more euphoric! Def the complete package. Having said all this, I have never experienced hyperspace. But, will keep these ideas in my head when the time has come. hope that it continues to treat you well. Mind and body and soul.

As far as meals go, Good on you! Sounds like an extremely clean nutrition plan. Lately I have been trying to cut out all processed foods. My efforts have been focusing on staying with alkaline foods for stomach health, it has been quite the feat as all my favorite foods are acidic Confused Can you recommend any easy meals? I have been doing a lot of whey shakes, spinach salads, raw veggies and fresh fruit. Beans are def something I should add.

Have you ever been to see a masseuse? Can do wonders for your health and well being, especially if you workout and stress your body regularly. I have only been once but it helped so much that I have scheduled for another visit. I def think this would add to the preparation of self for your journeys.

Best wishes!

my easies meal is to cut up a big salad. I really like salads because they're dense with micronutrients and contain almost no calories, I interpret this to mean the following, and it should all be treated as pure speculation and integrated into your life with your own personal discretion:

Your body has to process energy from food into energy your body can use, simple fact.

I figure when you eat the salad that the reason many will feel so clean, and not weighted down, is that the body does not have to put forth this great effort in digestion, but instead simply has to absorb all these wonderful little micro-nutrients.

Of course a life of heavy exercise requires large amounts of energy, so your after workout meal needs some calories.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY like lentil soup. Lentils are some very quick cooking legumes, and do not need soaking first. Plus they're cheap and have plenty of fiber.

I try a different recipe every time really, but of all the recipes online i usually double the amount of veggies. cause veggies are important.

But anyway, the good thing about soup, if you have the fridge space, is you can make a whole weeks supply in a big pot, and save all that stuff in the fridge, if you feel like making it even easier, you can get several tupperware containers that are the size of your ideal portion and have them filled and ready to go.

I hope to eventually detatch myself from society for the most part, the transition to a healthy diet can be very difficult, dependind upon the foods those around you eat. the best way to keep yourself eating healthy is to only keep healthy food in your home.
Having snack foods there just in case is really bad.

good snack foods:

Bananas, so easy, peel and eat.
Apples, you don't even have to peel.
carrots.
celery.
cucumbers... ever try just eating one?
bell peppers.
any fruits or veggies or berries or nuts you could think of really.

Just remember, alot of veggies have very few calories, wheras alot of fruits have alot of calories in the form of simple sugars, and they can really help to make you feel more stable when you're hungry. really though, if you feel the need for calories, consume something nice and starchy that will hold you over for a bit.

I hope I helped, sorry if all of this information was already obvious to you.

By the way, I have had a massage once, and it was pretty awesome. Smile
I just don't really make enough money for that kind of stuffs. Maybe my girlfriend should learn massage therapy.

I forgot to mention, If you ever feel like your salads or veggies are getting dull, use some spices!
I have been spicing up my salads with the following.
minced garlic
basil
rubbed sage
dried onion
oregano

IMHO you should try and do everything that makes you feel open and ready before any entheogenic experience. When I use an infrared sauna I feel great, my toxins are released, pores feel open and I get a ton of energy.

I would recommend TRE (Trauma Release Exercise) and The Body Ecology Diet (great book).

Thanks for the info terrence mechanic, Could you post a reliable link on trauma release exercise? I've never even heard of it but I'm interested in trying anything to help me on my attempted path to enlightenment.

Thanks tons. Smile
