It does make my heart rate go up, but not uncomfortably so. It doesn't bring the anxiety and such that a high heart rate from a stimulant or adrenaline brings with it. My heart probably pounds hardest right before I've taken my hit lol. Once it's in my lungs, my heart settles down, and then after that I'm so entirely focused on the emergent reality that if my heart is racing, I don't even notice I have a heart.
