Hows everyone doing this lovely evening?

Just joined up. I skimmed through the rules, probably should have read them fully... but...

Took me a while to sign up though (god I hate captchas... Razz)

but uhh have a question or two for y'all.

I haven't been diagnosed in about a year or so... and I've long stopped taking my psych meds ( 2 months clean, best decision of my life Very happy) but apparently I'm borderline schizophrenic or just heavily deluded.

I've been in several psychiatric centers for various reasons... but I'm honestly feeling the best i've felt in years!

So I'm wondering. How dumb is it to experiment with DMT at this current stage in my life?

I don't really know what stage you're at in life, that's for you to decide.

I've taken psychedelics with one diagnosed schizophrenic, and she did wonderfully every time. I'm not recommending you to take psychedelics, but you'll find there's really not a good answer in respect to whether or not schizophrenics should be taking psychedelics. It's the individuals call.
“The most compelling insight of that day was that this awesome recall had been brought about by a fraction of a gram of a white solid, but that in no way whatsoever could it be argued that these memories had been contained within the white solid. Everything I had recognized came from the depths of my memory and my psyche. I understood that our entire universe is contained in the mind and the spirit. We may choose not to find access to it, we may even deny its existence, but it is indeed there inside us, and there are chemicals that can catalyze its availability.”

It's a gamble and if you're doing well now without the meds, maybe you shouldn't take risks.

It might be too bold to say that we are all cut from the same cloth, but any matter, I assume we share different unique experience. I believe it can be said that taking any step into the unknown, a game changer, if you make it one, can be eased into. If you notice cognitive disruptions and cant think straight any more, then stop. Nothing wrong with a little curiosity. ?
