Hi MystiqueMushroom,

I'm not sure I understand your question. You want to know if anyone has met another person who while under the influence of psychedelics had supernatural powers that they used for evil purposes?

I for one haven't.

However what I have experienced both in positive and negative ways is how the emotional state of someone in my vicinity could strongly affect my own emotional state, while tripping. Through later investigations I found that this happens when sober too, just that we often don't pay it much heed. I suppose that this could be used deliberately to make someone feel good or bad, if understood well.

Hi Enoon, thanks for the reply.
I don't know if he is using these "supernaturals powers"
for evil purposes. But I do know he has bad intentions and most likely abusing what he knows.
Are there any protection amulets or items that anyone has used? Need all the help I can get.

Edit: Also id like to say, I can easily sense others emotions and was
not merely confused. All very real and in a concious clear state of mind.

I would try some kind of mantra, if I were you. Something you can chant to yourself that states how you refuse to give anyone power over you. Or better even simply repells negativity by being very positive.

When I say Mantra I don't mean chanting something in hindi however. I mean find a simple sentence that empowers you and repeat it over and over again, use it like a shield against what you feel is assaulting you.

Or try something like this:
Quote:

Hear ye, O man, the Sun is the symbol of the Light that shines at the end of thy road. Now to thee give I the secrets: how to meet the dark power, meet and conquer the fear from the night.Only by knowing can ye conquer; only by knowing can ye have Light.

Now I give unto thee the knowledge, known to the Masters; the knowing that conquers all the dark fears. Use this, the wisdom I give thee. Master thou shalt be of the Brothers of Night. When unto thee there comes a feeling, drawing thee nearer to the dark gate, examine thine heart and find if the feeling thou hast has come from within. If thou shalt find the darkness thine own thoughts, banish them forth from place in thy mind.

Send through thy body a wave of vibration, irregular first and regular second, repeating time after time until free. Start the Wave Force in thy Brain Centre. Direct it in waves from thine head to thy foot. But if thou findest thine heart is not darkened, be sure that a force is directed to thee. Only by knowing can thou overcome it. Only by wisdom can thou hope to be free...

Seek ye first a place bound with darkness. Place ye a circle around about thee. Stand erect in the midst of the circle. Use thou this formula, and thou shalt be free.Raise thou thine hands to the dark space above thee. Close thou thine eyes and draw in the Light. Call to the Spirit of Light through the Space-Time, using these words and thou shalt be free:

“Fill thou my body with Spirit of Light. Come from the Flower that shines through the darkness.Come from the Halls where the Seven Lords rule. Name them by name, I, the Seven: Three, Four, Five and Six, Seven, Eight—Nine. By their names I call them to aid me, free me and save me from the darkness of night: Untanas, Quertas, Chietal, and Goyana, Huertal, Semveta—Ardal.By their names I implore thee, free me from darkness and fill me with Light.”...

For me what works is "I am the light, in me is no darkness", which is according to the tablets of thoth the sentence to demand enterance into the halls of amenti (and yes, they might let you in...). For me it works as a ward against fear and darkness that might otherwise creep up on me.

Woah woah, let's not jump to crazy conclusions, run off to find amulets, or anything silly.

There are indeed people who have more perception of and control over "psychedelic" consciousness, and these aspects of reality and the mind are synergistic with others... but please do not jump to silly conclusions. One does not make deals with spirits for supernatural powers or the ability to control others. One can however develop the discipline to work with more fundamental aspects of consciousness, which can have an effect on the perception of those around them.

There is nothing inherently evil and mystical about this, however unfamiliar the experience may seem. This type of odd setting may seem very strange, but there is no need to worry about your safety. No one human soul is stronger than another, and so long as you stand your ground and stay on your toes, there is fairly little this person can do to sway you.

More importantly here, why is it you feel such a need to seek help with your relationship with this person? If you are sensitive to the energy of those around you and do not like what this person is doing to you, you ought to stay away from them. Some discussion and understanding may help, but don't keep putting yourself in the way of somebody who is bringing you down or worrying you (especially not somebody who obviously has a bit of Power on their side).

Keep yourself on a high frequency with love. Light always illuminates the dark.

It seems there is people in this world who'd want to rob others of their higher awareness or consciousness for no reason whatsoever through using fear unfortunately.
A battle of frequencies. Least I have the machine gun bird chirp vibrating when needed.

Whether or not such things are real (I don't have energy for that debate at the moment), there are reams of ethnographic, sociological, psychological, and historical depictions & claims of what we can loosely call dark shamanism.

This is not limited to primitive or isolated cultures, but is found in every single land on Earth... including modern western European based civilization. It is not all that long ago that people still burned witches remember. And it is statistically unlikely for so many claims of belief and practice to coincide so heavily by pure coincidence.

Whether people who believe in voodoo, candomblé, santeria, orisha worship, kali rituals, satanism, moloch or other baalim or demonic forms are delusional, subject to hypnosis, or whatever people might think... the fact is that there are, in fact, a good many people who believe that such things are possible. They all have many ways of dealing with such things as well.

Your question is rather vague on specifics, and I hesitate to get into this discussion for fear of validating or enabling what might be unhelpful or counterproductive beliefs or thought processes on your behalf. You might want to seriously analyse what exactly you think you are dealing with, what makes you believe these things, and why you would allow yourself to be associated with it.

My basic recommendation to you is not to hang around with anyone who even smacks to you of being overly interested in dark things... particularly involving magic, ritual, or drug use. Whether or not they are actually dark shaman, warlocks, or cultists of some kind is irrelevant. As is whether or not they have any supernatural powers. People like that are perfectly capable of fucking you up in rather mundane and explainable ways if you let them. Just ask anyone who crossed paths with Charles Manson.

Take this advice to heart. There are a truly infinitesimal number of situations where you can not legitimately and permanently break off all contact with someone who is in this direction. And even those are generally temporary and limited to the time that they have you tied up or something like that. You can even dump a spouse if you like, and if it is your kid who is going all Aleister Crowley on you... you might see if you can't beat it out of them before sending them off to Bellevue. (not an endorsement of any serious child abuse... though I do think kids these days should get spanked.)

Be well, and consider taking a break from hallucinogens for a while.

But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it." ~ Buddha

"I am the light, in me is no darkness" -- NICE.

This is good! what's the tablets of thoth? (I know google exists, but I feel like asking you, would you brief me shortly?)

And "MystiqueMushroom", don't be afraid. Breathe light. Concentrate on your heart. That's my advice.

and as for the magic amulet... you could always buy a stone of some sort, like a green stone.

I have a lot of stones, and for me stones are very interesting, a very interesting subject... but I also have my heart, and it's full of light! (:

Do some Tai Chi? if you feel "darkness" approaching.

Yeah, I instantly recognized this from the Emerald Tablets. The tablets are a series of writings said to be from the Atlantean/Egytpian God Thoth and that these writings inscribed on Emerald Tablets were found under a pyramid or something to that effect I believe. Anyway, google probably will be your friend here as it is something of an extensive subject, and you can find all the translated writings online.

True. Very True nen...

Most witches are lovely people doing good for the people they cross paths with as well.

In fact, I know many practioners of santeria, candomblé, orisha worship, kali worship and even satanism who are super-cool & positive folk. It is not the light workers or good shaman I was speaking of though. My advice to steer clear of dark weirdos is true whatever they claim to practice... even hedge fund management or bingo calling.

Although, I must say it is not totally a Hollywood thing this dark magic meme. I have yet to come across a native spiritual tradition that didn't acknowledge that some people in their milieu were up to no good. Otherwise, why have witch doctors? It is a fact that much of the business of shamanic type people the world over is in the warding off of curses, selling of protection charms, and other defenses against the dark arts. Hollywood didn't invent the stereotype of the evil sorcerer... they just chose to focus on and glorify that aspect of vodou, hoodoo, and bush religions far & wide because it made for great B movie fodder.

And, even there... you can find a lot of Hollywood depictions of good wizards, shaman hermits and the like. And, conversely, you can also find plenty of evil x-tian priests and the like. Exorcism is just as much a Catholic thing as it is African tribal.

And even still, most people know very little about voodoo.

IMO, perhaps its biggest gift to Hollywood wasn't the evil voodoo priest(ess), but rather the archetype of archetypes for Tinseltown horror... the ZOMBIE.

Anyway, since the OP doesn't seem to want to share what they are dealing with in any specifics, and doesn't seem to acknowledge the clear wisdom of getting the hell away from whoever it is that is creeping them out... there is not much point to this thread. It will probably end up secreted away in TTLG any time soon as it is.

I dont need help clarifying if this was real or not.
Ive known this person my entire life, they introduced
me to psychedelics/tripping and for this to make sense to
any of you I would have to go back 3 years and start there.
But I dont have the time for that and would probably not make sense.

This is my brother.

As long as I keep my intentions good and my head clear ill be okay.
Thanks for the replies, will check out the wingmakers and emerald tablets
when I have time.

You all realize that with all this mystical BS you're feeding him, you're just putting him in a worse spot, right? Feeding the ego with rocks and establishing semantic tricks is absolutely no help whatsoever in these instances, it simply weakens the spirit and distracts the mind from what is really doing the work.

Read a book or listen to some music and Pay Attention. This stuff doesn't work according to mystical rule, positive thinking, pretty gestures or prayer. What is required here is artistic grace, emotional fortitude, courage, oneness of mind, and a mature, open understanding of the world around us... or did you forget about that whole element last time you took a psych? Things usually just keep going regardless of how you feel or think about them. It's what you do about them that matters.

For the record, The Nexus isn't the best place to discuss esoterica that isn't entirely based in fantasy (though Hyperspace Fool's advice is clearly solid and worth heeding)... The best you're going to get from most anyone here is "find a pretty rock, spew the litany against fear and use some sanskrit mantra". I don't know where on the internet one may find a mature approach to this subject, but I wish you the best of luck in doing so. Regardless, your way through this trouble is either by walking away or taking it on face to face. If you choose the latter, do stay safe but keep in mind that there's not much a determined person cannot do when led by a good heart.

Godspeed,
Hg

there probably is no recipe that anyone could give you on how to improve your situation, especially since you won't fill us in on any details. That being said I'd like to put something forth that I sense Hiyo Quicksilver neglected. IMO Alot of this "psychic stuff" works through the subconscious, and the subconscious works a lot different than our rational mind. Symbols and symbolic acts - such as magical rituals, amulets, mantras (in a language you understand more than one you don't) - can have actual effects on you - e.g. protecting you from what you feel as negative energy,... especially combined with psychedelics...

The other thing I liked about the part I quoted from the emerald tablets (I have no idea about whether they are real or not, or made up entirely, which to me is irrelevant) is that it specifically questions first whether this darkness you feel is coming from within or from without. Even though you may feel like the darkness originates from another person, it may be a projection of something you carry within yourself. Or it could be that the negativity arises not from the other person but within the dynamics of the two of you, and is not intentional...

If you find the darkness creeping into you, you might want to take a look at Jung's shadow work.
If you feel it is really something coming from the outside, find a way to repell it. Give it no hold upon your being.

Ok. My sincere sympathies.

A brother on meth deathwish (or even with a relatively full time hobby) is no fun at all. This can really try your patience and your soul. A rough one that is all too common in this tweaker world we live in. This is not an episode of Breaking Bad, for sure.

Well, now we have a proper context for your issue... and perhaps we can give you some better advice than the general "leave bad people alone" stuff.

Meth heads can certainly turn alarmingly evil. Something very sinister about that substance, even when it starts nice and rosy. Course, anything that keeps you up for night after night is liable to drive you bonkers. Sleep deprivation is no joke, and most stims will show you their nasty underbelly if you abuse them and stay up for a few days... especially if you are also not rehydrating yourself properly.

The sad thing is that there isn't a whole lot you can do for addicts who don't want help. You can make them understand that you love them and that their behavior is hurting you, but that rarely goes well to be honest. They will appreciate it if they ever make it through to the other side, and may remember that you were there for them... or not.

There are probably others who can give you better advice on dealing with meth heads. I tend to not have such people around me if at all possible. It does seem very much like some of those people become possessed by actual devils and demons. (Whether or not that is the reality of the situation is sort of unimportant, I suppose.)

Hmmmm... the best I've got for you at this point is to take very good care of yourself. You must be a bit selfish in these situations because only someone who is on really solid footing can lend another person a hand. A drowning person can't rescue another drowning person. Make sure you are as grounded, strong and healthy as you can possibly be. Take a long wellness holiday if that is what you need to do.

A brother might be even harder to toss to the curb than even a lover or a friend because this is a person you have known your entire life and will be associated with for better or worse for as long as you both live. Certainly not something that can be said of a spouse even. Of course, many people take a healthy distance from their siblings, and if yours is on meth and acting evil, you may need to swallow your compassion and get the hell away from him until he is in a better space. I suppose you could try to stage an intervention, but I have never seen one of those go well or have any lasting effect that a simple voluntary stint in rehab wouldn't have done better.

All the best MystiqueMushroom. Take care of yourself.

Very true Hyperspace Fool. OP, the best thing you can do depending on your situation is try to talk to him and show your concern while at the same time reassure him that he doesn't have to do this alone and you'll give him the support and love he needs. Or you can space yourself from him and the situation and let time take care of everything.

Best of wishes to you both
