Hello wonderful community.

SWIMs new to this sacrament and wants to share some experiences and hear any feedback available.

The first journey was with a 25mg load on a homemade pipe which has a long stem with a pack of copper. It was not a break through experience though swim's visual field was very nearly overwhelmed with colors, patterns and movement. It was more hallucinatory than any other experience with mushrooms or LSD which swim has used for 20 years periodically at various dosages. A clear message was delivered, "You don't have to explain everything." The mind almost immediately began trying to decipher the meaning...the irony was recognized and a concerted effort to head the message was employed.

This experience inspired the acquisition of a GVG. The next journey was a 25mg load in the GVG in one hit. It was again a journey that would not be described by swim as a breakthrough though surely as close as possible. The imagery was brilliantly colored and amazing but appeared much like graffiti art. Swim is 40 something and not into graffiti at all....odd!

2 weeks later, a 33mg load in one hit. The onset was very rapid. Patterns, fractals, colors overcame the field of vision and a playful cartoonish presence came screaming out of the left field of vision (or perception) with middle finger extended to say, "FUCK YOU" but in a very playful, friendly way. Perhaps a sort of, "Oh, it's gonna work now, you're in for a ride!" But that is about the last thing swim remembers other than periodically realizing that breathing was NOT occurring. A sort of gasping breath then in response to the realization but the intensity would immediately overwhelm again. There was also a noticeable difficulty in swallowing. This was certainly a breakthrough but so much less could be brought back. Upon re-entry however, another clear message was delivered. Not spoken, just given to the mind. "The good stuff happens in between the chaos, when the mind is quiet."

2 more weeks and a 25mg load. This time outside under a brilliant moonless sky. Again a breakthrough, again the breathing and swallowing challenges, again difficulty in bringing the experience back. But still great insights mostly realized upon re-entry prior to full baseline return.

Swim has had no clear visits with entities only odd perceptions of the presence of someone or some thing. No conversations or machine elves or such, at least that comes back with swim.

Interested in any comments and specifically wondering if the breathing and swallowing thing is common and reflects anything regarding dosage. Also, the black-out effect is disappointing; is that related to dosage too? Seems obvious that it may indicate a bit too strong a dosage but I suppose it could be otherwise.

Thoughts?

P.S. Great community, thanks so much for sharing all this amazing information!

The feeling of losing ones breath/ not being able to breathe is one of the key signs your on the right track! Thumbs up

That feeling for me (in the beginning) used to be overwhelming to the point where I'd try to cling on to that last aspect of my physicality before completely dissolving into the experience. My best advice is learn to just let go (I know that can be easier said than done) of any attempt to hold onto anything that might be overwhelming you in those early-on moments.

I've found that 25-30 minutes of simple meditation (focusing on your breath), eyes closed, before you journey does wonders in terms of mentally holding on to anything..whether it be randomly occurring thoughts or even the physical sensation such as quickly losing ones breath. The moment after you open you eyes from meditation and you feel real CLEAR...thats when you light the pipe! Big grin

There's been moments when I'm in the breakthrough state and I "slightly" come back to physical reality, and I gasp or swallow, kinda like coming up for air haha, then I'm fully sucked back in...and all is lost once again. Twisted Evil

yeah, similar thoughts and messages

often along the lines of my whole ego / identity is a bit of an illusion
that all this thinking / rationalisation is getting in the way of seeing our
shared "reality" is the illusion...

there is so much love between the gaps

infinite love

more spice please......Big grin

It's pretty normal to experience amnesia when it comes to the deepest parts of the trip. Some feel that abstaining from MJ in the hours prior can help with this. But you'll never bring back more than a few fragments- hyperspace is, by definition, extremely hard to remember.

But try, try, try: write about your experiences in detail. As your descriptive language develops, so will your ability to bring things back. Good language can give you a grip on slippery subjects. And more experience (including that with LSD and shrooms) will help you develop that language.

Thanks for the great responses friends. I've spent so much time on here reading and learning; what a great resource. I may try a 20mg dose next and see how that does. I've wondered if a dose is not fully vaped on the GVG then perhaps the next round might not be as small as one is attempting. Hmm...

by the way, I'm through swimming

Seems two concepts here - one about breathing, one about amnesia.
Here's some thoughts to share, happy to hear other's views on mine...

on breath - agree with the focus on breath meditation - this is a key.
I usually do some deep breathing ex prior to going, along the lines of max inhale, hold 3-5 secs - ram more air in with a few forced sniffs, let basal alveoli expand to max out lung volumes, full exhale (and I mean full) use arms to squish chest - centralise any mucus in the bronchial tree - cough any gunk out before you go.

Other thoughts - I suspect a great deal of electrical activity is going on in the brain / body during a journey, I can sense the oxygen debt and feel my metabolic rates skyrocket - I have become aware that poor nutrition reduces the brain/mind machines 'top speed' potential, thus I suppliment with heaps of serotonin rich foods, (banannas & walnuts) Q10 and broad B group vitamins - to help ensure mitochondria and neurons have enough fuel to get into orbit...

Try a berocca 1/2 an hour before you go.... the neurons go turbo...
One experiment I am waiting to do is to max out on O2 before I go.

Breathing & mucus - seems that sometimes spice causes the body to detoxify, I hear the ahaywaska(?) makes you vomit out toxins, seems also that various mucus cells along lung and nasal passages try to expell the crap - as snot / mucus. this can make it hard to breath. I notice my skin is also expelling more gunk than it used to, and I am starting to feel much 'cleaner' inside. My guess is the gunk are all part of living in the city, its in the air, the food, the water.
Try to cleanse environment and self - ritually - before you go, it will empower the experience as well. A good gargle / nasal gargle might help you continue to breath.

Re the amnesia - sounds like either too much - check dosages as recommended in the spirit molecule - per body kg... or you are thinking too much / too stuck in own thoughts and blocking. I think that message about looking in the gaps, in the silence, between thoughts, to be pretty spot on. Also the bit about just letting go, try to ride the sensorium and observe, but don't analyse.

Given you are probably contacting an infinite intelligence, maybe not be so surprised that there is more information than simple human can contain.

I'm happy if I come back with one gem at a time.

Eg- My last was a very interesting conception of how the consciousness field creates reality - and how we as self programming swarm intelligences - actual whirlwinds in this mind field can mould-create-influence it.

This was not a hocus pocus - it was superstring physics minus the visual representation of the equations, akin to a living fractal bio-psycho-social entity that is the cosmos. Here's a similar concept by PHd John Hagelin if that didn't make any sense to you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrcWntw9juM

The gem was that the fundamental 'particle-proccess' of the cosmos is AGAPE LOVE and we as self aware entities in this cosmos can access this infinite love, with or WITHOUT spice, at any time....

I dream of what I'd call a "no spice" or "endogenous spice" tech....
these are some of the keys I've found so far.

ritual prep - self and environment, sensory dep or suitable vibe music
(you-tube entheogenic-pagan dream machine... or the OMMMMMMMMMMMM - Both are powerful boosters), breath control, body temp room, recline in absolute darkness
respect for what is sacred..... these things are SOME, I'm sure there's more / simpler / better - lots of us seem to be developing these 'techs'.

If you have to think, coz your mind won't shut up,
maybe have a mantra related to your mission.....
- even doing nothing / just observing can be considered the 'mission'

Feel free to try a favorite of mine - a gem I was given on my first real journey.
"Love is the word and the word is love "
