I just had an idea. How awesome are big xtals? Soooo, what if you do a re-x, take those clean xtals and put in a glass freebase bubbler pipe bowl. Add some heptane, cover the hole, and re-x in the pipe. Let it dry afterwards and have untouched xtals grown right in the pipe.

please take pictures! I gotta see this. I get what youre saying, it may take a long time to evap like that. A very long time.

Well if I pull the pipe from the bubbler, and put by my ac, it should only take an hour. The xtals will take days to grow. I'm planning on keeping it warmer to slow "fallout" and help growth. Probably stick in a seed xtal for good measure

Im guessing your not talking about a gvg. Is it a meth pipe style? Im just trying to picture how where in the pipe you would be able to grow them then vape em in the same spot.

Yes meth style. I was trying not to use that word. But it is what it is. Also, I don't evap. I use heptane forever. Only when xtals are done growing do I pour it back into my little jar. The residue on the xtals that evaporates is my only loss aside from mishaps. I've made 4oz last 9 months.

Well its been awhile, but here soon I should have some pics. Just getting some re-xtals growing in a jar. Then I've got to take those and treat em like fresh extract, and get nice and clean, re-grow, and then put in the pipe for growing. Should have results within a week.

My oil burner is full of awesome re-crystallization of spice, even if I'm out of DMT I can melt the re-xed spice in the pipe and let it slide back into the bulb and then blast off! ;p

Damn I came to find oly right. I poured the naphtha off my freezer jar and left to dry mostly covered. When I came home, my snowglobe had changed. All the spots MOVED and there were big chunks of xtals! But I wonder, is it just that during the evapped it reaches a perfect ratio of solution to freebase that is conducive for growth? I know too saturated they just precipitate, not enough, and I see long floaters.

Anyhoo, here is a before pic, saturated heptane in the glass. I dropped in a seed xtal once it reached room temp. Now the waiting game.

Most welcome. It'll be like a ship in a bottle. Most likely will be enjoyed by a friend, as I seem to be under a "no contact" order with hyperspace lately.

Ive been there before man... it will come back. Takes some time and there are supplements you can take to speed things up if your "no contact phase" is from frequent dmt use.

But most people who could pull off or even conceive of a heptane xtal grow in their glass freebase pipe probably know very well how many lungfulls they can handle.


Anyway, Olympus... what supplements exactly are you talking about? Be interesting to hear. Also, if anyone knows any that could speed up recovery from a rather embarrassingly large disso tolerance.
