I'm new and I really want some opinions on whether you guys think DMT is trying to find me.

The reason I say "DMT is trying to find me" is because of the expression "you don't find

DMT, DMT finds you". I honestly believe in that and I find it very important knowing that

something out there thinks I am "ready" for this. How I found out about it is very recent

and fresh in my life.




Well here's how I got into it.

I was sitting with my ex, we would talk about all sorts of things like astral projection,

meditation, things of that sort "helping the body and mind". I was always the one more into

spirituality, he wasn't (he was agnostic) so I guess more of our spiritual talks would

start because of me. Maybe weeks or a month later, he had told me about DMT. I don't know

why he brought it up but it didn't interest me one bit and I basically shoved it off. That

was sometime around last year. For awhile I stopped my spiritual journey due to anxiety,

lack of sleep and fears of the unknown, dealing with spirituality. I had to stop it and

live a normal life, which worked. Couples weeks ago I decided to get on this forum I used

to go on to learn about spirituality, then I ended up chatting with someone who brought up

DMT. I only remembered my ex talking about it and being all interested in it but that was

it. But For some reason this time, I was really interested in it myself.




These past couple of days, I've been on DMT hard. I've been re-searching about it, watching

video from others experience and so forth. For some reason I am more interested in it now

than I was before and I don't know why. I don't make it a plan to try it just yet because I

know I am not ready for it. I've been thinking long and hard about my intentions and

getting my mind right. Also when I looked up how to get DMT it said I would have to make it

or know someone who makes it, and when I read stories from others that tried DMT their

first time, a lot of them said they knew someone that just offered it to them. It somewhat

makes me feel like it hasn't been trying to find me because I haven't had an offer like

that, I've just heard about it, which anyone can.




Maybe I am thinking too much into this, like I always do.

Your opinions would be really appreciated.

I think I understand. It was a totally random event that brought me to DMT. A complete accident. I have had a bunch of experience with other things like mushrooms, but never even heard of DMT. One night I was bored and looking under Documentaries on Netflix to see if I could find a documentary by a friend of mine. I came across this Dcoumentary called DMT: The Spirit Molecule hosted by Joe Rogan. Being a huge fight fan, I knew who Joe Rogan was. I read the description and was like, "No way!" I watched the film and did a search on google, and here I am. When the universe calls to you, always listen. I found everything I needed to know here....how to do everything....

I really like the way you spaced out your lines. It's not necessary to do, just multiple paragraph breaks will suffice but it does look great on my phone.

I found my way into DMT's arms the same way smoov did. I was at a major point in my life that needed change, back to who I used to be. My friend told me about rogans deprivation tank giveaway and I started looking into that. Along the way I heard some podcasts by him talking about DMT and other things that helped me get back on my spiritual path. Including sensory deprivation tanks.

I researched as much as I could, and it wasn't until after about two years of doing so a friend gifted me some out of the blue. Now that doesn't mean you need to wait as long as I did. I wasn't in the proper living conditions to be able to do an extraction otherwise I would have done that much earlier. But DMT finds people in many different ways. It seems to me that it has found you and I recommend you try an extraction if you are so inclined. It's a lot easier than you would think.

IT will find you in the most indirect ways sometimes, but the point is..out of the infinite amount of life path combinations, you happened to stumble across it and now your HERE. My best advice..take the torch and run with it....it's worth every step.

Back in 06 I had first did LSD with a good friend of mine out on my property out in the country...changed my life forever. That then sparked my soul to blaze the trail. And one day in 07 I had stumbled across terrence mckennas famous "dmt trip discussion/machine elves". That just added more fuel to the fire.

I ended up researching for about a months time on erowid regarding extracting, experiences, dosages, etc. Went over to mycotopia for a bit, then eventually I found THIS PLACE! Lurked here throughout 08 and then decided to sign up........

Sounds like you are getting ready, and that the curiosity has almost reached breaking point. You are here for a reason, your intentions seem pure, and this particular molecule is incredibly rewarding. Treat it with respect and it will show you the most incredible things!

DMT might very well have to find you first, but I interpret that to mean DMT either will or will not enter into your consciousness when you're prepared for it or perhaps in a time of need. I don't believe that the expression necessarily suggests that DMT will be gifted to you or that you will come to possess the chemical because fate would have it be so. Here are the facts: you can order a DMT-containing perennial evergreen or another plant from many online vendors, and you can perform the extraction with very few resources and even less knowledge of chemistry. This is how DMT "found me" if you'd like, but that's neither here nor there. The truth of the matter is that YOU are here on this website, seeking knowledge and counsel from this community, and that's the first step. For many individuals, DMT will enter into his or her consciousness--it's hardly a secret anymore--but he or she will choose not to pursue it, and might very well forget about it. DMT entered into your consciousness and you've continued to think about it, so take that to mean that it wants to meet you.

I never thought of it that way - DMT finding you, but once I read your opening paragraph my jaw dropped. I feel the same sentiment. In all the soul searching, along with the pain and anxiety I gave into at times, all the reading, and countless hours in conversation, I cannot believe I had yet to hear of such a tool until now!

Like you, I do not feel ready to take the jump... Yet.

While reading through these posts I find it comforting to know there are many here with deep respect, and vast knowledge. I also find solace that there are people with still a lot to learn.
