Hello all. I wanted to briefly introduce myself to the community which I have lurked on for so long. My name is Mansfield, and I've been using psychedelic substances for well over a decade at this point in my life. The first time was purely accidental - and boy was that a wild, and confusing ride. It was a couple of years later, when a friend gave me some acid that I was transported back, finally putting 2 and 2 toget4er. I haven't looked back since.

I'm wholly against the plague that is organized religion, but would never deny another the right. I preach moderation of all things for a healthy life.

I was introduced to DMT by a good friend a few years back. Since then I've delved much further into it, doing a couple of STB extractions. I've looked around these (and other) forums for years, and decided now was probably the time to join. I'd really like to push my extractions to the next level (planning an A/B extraction currently), and really get into discussions with those in this community. What can I say? You guys have your stuff together.

Also, really looking forward to being part of the data pool, and encouraging others to really quantify their lessons from extraction. Data = Knowledge = Power.

Intriguing to hear about your "accidental" trip... Can't imagine what that would be like. Having your first entheogenic experience without knowing what you're getting into would be crazy! Glad to hear it didn't put you off permanently from psychedelics.

Thank you for the introduction, nice to hear you are already getting down with some extractios, you mentioned you had dome two STB extrractions, what was your averaged alkaloid ammount for these extractions and what do you think you will get from doing an A/B that you wont get from an STB?

Maybe sometime I will post a quick write up of that first accidental trip with Lucy. I think it didn't turn me off (insert Leary pun here) because I literally had no idea. If someone had told me what it was a few weeks after the fact, immediate negativity - guaranteed.

I'd have to dig through some crap to get you exact #'s, but suffice to say they were each under 1%. In the .5-.8 range. The main thing I'm looking for is a larger yield, the goal being 2%. Probably will not happen this go around, but it's something to aim for. Also hoping to get a cleaner product. I'll be dividing material up into 5ths to conduct 5 extractions. Slight changes in variables between 4, compare and document. I will post results here...or wherever they should go.

Which Tek are you thinking about following for A/B?

I will be following Q21's tek. I'm intrigued by the dry-tek route, and am also interested in the aspect of turning it into a tincture. I have a fondness for all things tincture.
