Lately I've been having more and more journeys that has to do with music/sound in one way or another. Anyway, I figured I would put it to poetry (which I'll hopefully have music for soon). I wrote this all last night, so it's still pretty rough, but I'm just too eager to share. Additionally, it might make more sense in the context of one of my recent experiences I've written about The Egyptian Octave

So without further delay, here's my poetry/lyrics

"Sonic Phototorium"
(Doll House in my Head)

See the colorful beings at play
Spectral animation
Via sonic configurations
Yields our phototorium maze

A picture perfect suite of tones
A pitch perfect display of color
Synthesizing succinct synaesthetic sensoriums
A dwelling like no other

It’s a tone acrobat
Gliding and torquing with computer precision
A dark blue acrobat at that
Spotting another tone, there is a collision

A combinative entity they create
A multi-colored chord in a procession
We’ve moved an octave up
Not in notes, but in dimensions

It was much akin to a doll house
But this doll house is now a mansion
Green and pink books on the shelf
Toys strewn on the floor by a comfy bed
Create this child’s room abstraction

A lavish crawlspace delivers us
To a most spacious living area
There’s more room to fly here
So up the spire higher and higher
Through the power of a colorful aria

Our time’s almost up
But we’re in the next octave yet
This one is an Egyptian temple
Or perhaps Atlantean I’d bet

Chords coalesce into lions
They are musical figurines
Tessilations of turquoise encrusted gold
Adorn the walls in the space betwixt my temples
That the lions patrolled
And that I behold it is obscene

Nice! My creativity has been stuck in a rut for some time, I need to get back on board! Poetry is a great form of expression imo

Really lovely poem. I found it gentle and beautiful. Do you find artistic expression of your experiences helps integrate or expand from them?

Thabus for sharing.
The inner soul is full of joy. Reveal my secrets and sew me whole. With each day, "I" heeds your call.
You may not care the slightest and may not be the brightest, but from here "I" sees you're mighty for you created it all.

And the jumbling sea rose above the wall.

Through this chaos comes the order you enthrall.

I think so. Writing this poem for example, inherently forced me to not only sit and think on my experiences and the sense of them, and to put them to words. It probably makes for a strong synchronization of the hemispheres. You take the language aspect, and the musical aspect, and the whole symbolic DMT process, and wrap it all up into one task. Or if you're a painter/visual artist and that's your thing, that also puts you in a necessary position where you have to reflect on your experience so that you can integrate it (bring it back to the real world) in some representational form or another. Most of all, DMT makes it incredibly easy to be creative. You have your eccentric source material (the DMT experience), and what a fantastic muse it makes.

Not entirely sure yet, but I have two ideas. One is that it's gonna have to have some high chimey stuff in there somewhere (especially the beginning) as it's high pure electronic tones in my experiences that stirred me to write this poem in the first place. Secondly, I'm trying to make a sort of fractal melody to it all so that whatever the notes in the main theme are, will indicate the progression of keys. So for example, if it were something simple like C D E (which it of course wouldn't be) then the keys would modulate from C to D to E, thus reflecting the melody on a larger scale, and bring it all on home at the end with overlapping material.

Now one of the things that's been made expressly clear to me in some of my most recent experiences is that there are these sets of entities I meet, and they're all geometrically similar (they're completely abstract - I think tek once expertly referred to some of the entities he sees as sock puppets, and this might be a nice approximation), and they're each a different color. I've seen these guys since the beginning, but it was recently demonstrated to me that their color corresponds to a specific pitch that either they emit, or that is emitted from elsewhere when they are present. So the "dark blue acrobat" from the poem is an example of one of these "tone entities". I'm hoping that with some repeated exposure, I might be able to actually figure out which entities emit which notes, and then to match up that tone with a color mentioned in the music (at least for verses which mention colors or for colors not mentioned but remembered through the imagery). For example, in one verse I mention green and pink books on the shelf, so if I find that the green entity for example produces an E, then that verse would be in E major. These entities are mathematically precise, and consistent, and I can be patient in cracking their code.
