Started thinking about this because I saved the spent root bark from a recent extraction and forgot about it. A few weeks later I found it and it is completely covered in mycelium. Probably wont do anything with it but it did get me thinking:

Anyone tried growing mushrooms in MHRB substrate?
Or added MHRB to the substrate.

From what I understand, DMT and psilocin are very similar molecules (The Spirit Molecule by Dr. Strassman). They differ by one Oxygen atom.

Very interesting proposal. I have cultivated Mushrooms for years and am new to DMT. I would be most interested in hearing any update on your mycelium, as well as anyone's experience with growing Mushrooms using MHRB as a substrate.

Always loved the idea... never had the time to mess with it. In my mind the easiest/best way to achieve huge amounts of Psilo alks would be to use Phalaris straw as a bulk substrate.
Shroomery experiments showed the fruits to be somewhat abnormal with very high Psilo levels, added nutrients helped.

How did it become covered in mycelium?

purely accidental, Some mold in the air. I did not inoculate. It is very white mycelium and smells nice too! That's why I'm not going to do anything with it. It just got the ol gears turning in my head.

Right on bro. I remember when the info for met my head in 94-95 or somewhere around there. fungi that were producing 1% were jacked to 3.3% with the addition of Tryptamine. Later on the shroomery folks were adding tyrosine and others to find the results.

I never kept up with it, but always promised myself I'd grow a batch of cubes on Phalaris straw just to see what'd happen.
I'm past mushroom growin at this time, so I doubt I'll ever do it, but please, research whats on the shroomery and see what you can come up with!
