I'd say my dog has moderate experience with psychedelics, MDMA and cannabis. He would like to try DMT just once. His problem is, that he was diagnosed with drug induced psychosis 2 years ago, but this is pretty much cleared up now, he is on anti-psychotic medication. My dog is looking to try DMT once, as a sort of farewell to drug induced self exploration. He doesn't mind if it's the worst trip, or the best and most meaningful experience in his life, it will only be once. Should I let him do it?? It's not the first time we've been in this dream.

Careful. Interactions can be a problem here, and not only because the anti-psychotics might negate the effects of DMT, there might be a dangerous interaction. Can you be more specific about that medication? "The Menu is Not The Meal." - Alan Watts

Should I let him do it?? No. 1) You should never gives psychoactive drugs to a dog. 2) Given this animal's psychotic past, it is strongly advised this animal stay clear of psychoactive substances -- esp if he's on anti-psychotic medication. Can you be more specific about that medication? He's prescribed seroquel extended release 750mg daily. It's not the first time we've been in this dream.

That's a high dose of quetiapine. I'm afraid you have to take absolutely seriously what a1pha says, dog or not. You'll have to stay away from psychedelics, even if there was no previous psychosis diagnose. More so in that case. "The Menu is Not The Meal." - Alan Watts

I have to give you the same advice as I did to a friend on 500mg of Clozapine (a very heavy antipsychotic)- Don't use psychedelics whilst in that state of mind. It can easily make life much more difficult. Even if you think you are completely free of any symptoms, there is a chance of it all flooding back. Be careful!

I've taken DMT whilst on a high dose of Seroquel many times. I have never had any problems. Yes, you should be very careful. Not everyone reacts the same to certain combinations. However, I would never preach to anyone about drugs. If you want to try DMT, try it. "Over himself, over his own body and mind, the individual is sovereign".
There is a life-threatening disorder called 'Neuroleptic malignant syndrome' that you need to be wary of. It is caused by anti-psychotic medication. In particular, a sudden decrease in Dopamine activity or Dopamine receptor blockage. I'm not sure if DMT would increase the risk of this, but be careful.

lookin back, seeing how I made a life of psychedlia as I have and all. I often ponder if I could have been happier if I'd just never done any of them, if I'd just played into the little games and gone about life like everyone else. Who knows. In the end it is your decision on what you want to do. Obviously take precautions with any other medications you are currently on. "We're selling more than a cracker here," Krijak said. Ringworm - so psychedelics changed your outlook on life? Did you learn something good, bad or confusing? Did it open a door to another world? Please let us know! I hear psychedelics in large doses can open a door and keep it open, and some wish they could close it, but can't. Done: THC - LSD - MESC - MDMA - Shrooms - DMT / Want:Hyperspace travel - World Peace Respect, intention, meditation, inhalation, observation, analyzation, respect.

yes, I'm semi tripping constantly and I enjoy it... no that isn't really what I'm talking about. I was being more philosophical then anything. I was pondering more on the possibility of living a life not knowing what I am. I can't comment on a life without psychedelics as I never did, some of my earliest memories in life were tripping. For myself at least, I have a hard time juggling many worlds. I get in the head space of having knowledge of myself before myself, having knowledge of so many things that are not applicable in the life that I *need* to live. To live in and succeed in this world you need to play many many monkey games, is it easier to play them if you see them for what they really are? or no? I had an episode of Neuroleptic malignant syndrome about a year and a half ago after taking a suicidal dose of my medication. I'm fine now though. It's not the first time we've been in this dream.

Well I guess I shouldn't, even though I want to. Maybe in the future I'll come across it again when I'm ready for it. I guess I'll stick to dreaming until then. It's not the first time we've been in this dream.
