Hi all, I decided to make an account after much lurking and even though I feel like I have read essay loads on the topic I still have a few questions regarding the effects of DMT. One of the most intriguing things after watching DMT: The Spirit Molecule is the description given by one of the volunteers about seeing 'souls' in hyperspace which were looking down on their past lives, and about seeing a place she was convinced that she had been before countless times where she too could look down on her past lives. Now obviously this is a psychedelic drug which many would argue creates these hallucinations out of the brains inherent creativity, but most people have a firm grasp on reality and truth and the sencerity with which she says it makes it all the more convincing. The reason I am bringing it up though is because of an astounding man I have recently come across the work of named Dr Ian Stevenson, who for 20+ years studied spontaneous memories of past lives in children around the world and over the course of over 2000 cases he found that over 1000 of these children's stories checked out, namely the names of parents/places/friends who the child claims to have known DO actually exist. Obviously it's very easy to jump to the easiest conclusion which is these children are making shit up, but the fact that so many knew such intricate details about the life's of families so far away with no prior contact before Dr Ian investigated leaves open very few answers; either these kids are psychic or they actually did reincarnate.... Now my questions to your community of (?nexians?); Do you experience this phenomenon of seeing/experiencing/remembering your own past lives? Does entering hyperspace literally feel like your 'soul' is the one experiencing it and the rest of your humanity stays with your body? (As opposed to entering it in this state of mind we experience during sobriety) Have you noticed any long term effects on your natural dreaming state when abstaining from DMT, as in does it possibly reduce the amount created by the body because it has such a big amount available, much the same way steroid users experience up to a complete shutdown of their testes. And lastly I realise it's a pretty life changing experience 'breaking-through", but is it the sort of change you never regret learning about? Like I really am an inquisitive person but from reading this forum DMT seems like pretty profound stuff and I fear I will be doing myself a dis-service by exposing myself to it this young (early 20s). For anyone interested in the work on reincarnation, I emplore you to check out the links below. Simply FASCINATING and it certainly threw my close minded views about death out the window, http://www.iisis.net/ind...oration-sse&hl=en_UShttp://www.youtube.com/w...ure=youtube_gdata_player

I met a woman and her kids once, with an old girlfriend of mine. Her four year old son piled into my lap as soon as I sat down, looked into my eyes and smiled, and said "I remember you from before I was born". "This concludes our transmission to Oceania. However, listeners in East Asia may continue listening on the following short wave frequencies: 6110, 7230, 9565, 9760, 15160, and 15425 kilohertz."

I have personally never experienced a past life in awake life, though in my dreams? *YES when i partake of dmt it is as if i am experiencing maybe my core energy, and that that energy is all i need for the journey experience. I believe the dmt enlivens our core energy, raising its vibrations allowing our living essence to seperate from our physical body to shake off and be free from our senses of this reality, and for us as our core energy to connect to the Universal vibration/fabric; and then we experience our greatest simplest sense/conscious. ?? The effects i notice from abstaining from dmt are: I have noticed that when i am about ready for another venture, say every 3 months or so, that i start to draw a lot and get really into it, and after drawing a bit i realise it has been a while. I do not believe in coincedence, i believe all is attracted. SO, i believe whether or not you are to try dmt, you always were going to precisely. I believe we choose our destiny, but maybe our first spark of life attracts our final? QOUTE from the Great Morpheus: "All I'm offering is the truth. Nothing more"You will still have to interpret this truth for yourself."Given enough Time even Hydrogen starts to wonder where it came from, and where it is going"

As far as I know, human beings endogenously produce DMT throughout their lives. Both my kids talked about things they remembered from before they were born up until about age 7. Many of these things made more sense as I watched them and their personalities grow. I have no doubt that reincarnation is a fact and that what my kids were talking about - they really experienced. Quote:Those articles show that kids stop having these memories around 10, just as the DMT production is supposedly coming to a halt... Having heard the part about it stopping between 5 and 10 yo before, I have heard the idea presented that after being told they are silly not-true stories for several years by adults, kids lose their ability to see/retain these things - kind of like smacking the cosmic smile off their face with our limited view insisting that if something cannot be perceived that way it's not real. We essentially stomp out any developing intuition at a young age. Nope. At the time it seemed perfectly reasonable and I just smiled back "This concludes our transmission to Oceania. Young kids can have a really vivid imagination. I too have read of Ian Stevenson. I've worked with young kids before, and have tried without success to find any that claim to remember past lives. Usually I casually ask a group of kids what is the earliest they can remember. Can they remember when they were still a baby? Can they remember what it was like when they were born? Then I ask if anyone can remember back ever further, "back to when they were grown up before". Then they generally stare at me and tell me I'm being silly. Granted, the kids I've worked with are slightly older, generally between 6 and 8.
I did have one six year old girl who volunteered from the start that she "remembered what it was like when she was in her mother's tummy". Thinking that this would not be all that far-fetched (given that some adults make similar claims under hypnosis or the influence of psychedelic drugs), I casually encouraged her to talk about what she remembered on a couple of occasions. What she described was pretty vague (it was dark, I could hear my mommy when she talked, etc.). But then she mentioned "and I would always eat what my mommy ate. Except if it was something I didn't like, I would just push it back". Well needless to say, that was the end if that investigation. Although her parents did get a kick out of it when described what she had said to me.
I've probably asked around 100 kids this question, and never noticed anything worth pursuing except in the case described above. It could well be that I just have not worked with enough children, they are too old, or didn't feel comfortable relating the experience in front of other kids.

Yes the studies done by Dr Ian Stevenson suggest that kids between 3-6 are most likely to talk about those sorts of things and above that age they quickly lose those memories as their lives get more and more complex. Thanks for posting the story of the little girl, even if her memories are vague and inconclusive they still very well could have been stemmed from real memories. Intriguing
