You attempted to smoke freebase dmt through a spoon pipe without first melting it onto another herb?

By spoon pipe I assume you mean a regular glass pipe? If this is what you are talking about I can't imagine it would be too hard to envision the outcome. There is a hole larger than a pencil led at the bottom of the bowl and you said yourself freebase DMT melts... if you haven't figured it out by now all I can say is no, not a good idea. Assuming you have crystals large enough to not get sucked straight down the hole, once you heat them they will melt and get sucked down the hole and into your throat. The only experience you will have is one of extreme pain as molten DMT burns the living hell out of your soft tissues.

Have you had success with freebase or any other form of DMT before? If so, would you mind elaborating on the experience? Maybe you could get (or give) a few pointers to help achieve success. There are many herbs you can use as a bed for your spice, you don't have to use anything special oregano will do fine, even tobacco if you smoke, mullein is also great as it will actually sooth your throat (much better alternative to burning it.)

I had an experience of smoking a rather large bowl of dmt out of a medium size spoon pipe. But if i recall correctly I inhaled too fast and put the flame quite close if not in the bowl and I may have burned a few holes in my throat or lungs and i was curious if damage like that can naturally recover?

So this was not a theoretical question? It was an actual experience? Ouch. I'm no doctor but I'm sure your throat will heal if it isn't serious. If you are worried you may have serious damage or have burns in your lungs please seek medical attention. I'm sure burn holes in your throat and or lungs could cause some real problems, not to mention the possibility of infection.

I'm not sure how much it would help, I guess it depends on wether or not the burning you feel was caused by molten DMT or just the freebase hitting your throat, but drinking something acidic like orange juice or better yet apple cider vinegar immediately after inhaling it would probably help neutralize the burn but only if it was caused by the unmelted freebase otherwise I don't know if it would help too much.

Please be safe. I wouldn't attempt smoking anything until you feel that the burns are healed.
