Hi,
I just purchased a GVG, and currently waiting for it to arrive. However, I still need to buy a butane torch before I can depart to the hyperspace.

I am looking for a cheap and decent butane torch that has proven itself to work with GVG before. I may be asking too much but I have some store credit on Amazon, so it would be even better if it is on Amazon.

While I purchased mine through eBay, Amazon might carry Jobon butane cigarette torch lighters as well. The particular one I purchased cost me $10 and while it might not be the best tool, it does what I need it to do.

It's the one all the DMT nexians recommend and it's super cheap. You can change the shipping to the cheaper one. I got it, and it's amazing.

I guess I will be going with this one. One question, though. Can I just buy one instead of two? Has anyone ever asked this to the seller?

I have no idea, you can definitely try asking him. I feel good having two as it never hurts to have a spare.

I'd recommend a creme brûlée torch from bed bath and beyond if you're looking for something that can heat up a nail or skillet for oil too. Every cheapo mini torch I've bought has failed after repeated use and doesn't light like it did when it was new

It works beautifully with it and you don't have to worry about buying butane cartridges. Its a shell that goes around standard gas station lighters, which you can buy in large amounts for a few bucks. If you get it, cut the jet just low enough so that the flame starts to bend. When I first got mine the flam was turned all the way up and I burnt the finish lol. Then once you got the flame have it circle around the rim and it will vale all of your spice quickly.
