Alright, so I was finally able to whip out my bong (fun-sized and compact, carb instead of slide), and throw some changa that I recently made in there.

The changa was 1:1 dmt to caapi leaf, sage, blue lotus, and mugwort, with about 200 mg added harmalas.

I made the room as dim as possible, it was midday (but during a storm Big grin ) , and I put on a good pair of headphones, listening to Thomas Newman's "Any other Name" from the movie American Beauty. Haven't seen the movie, but the song is just so peaceful and relaxing.

I then covered myself with two of my favorite blanks, loaded up the bong with my changa, and blasted off into hyperspace while laying down under the blankets on my nice couch. As a side note, I always get really cold when I do DMT, so I am always under a blanket or with sweatshirt.

I should also state that before the blast off, I meditated in silence for about 5 minutes, also saying a short prayer stating my intentions as a perfectly polite audience and student to learn and view this space.

The vibrations came on , and the wubs began to message my body. I saw upside tear-drops slowly crawling up my arm, from fingertip to shoulder to my brain, and from my toes up my legs and likewise. Clockwork gears surrounded my vision, so I closed my eyes and paid more attention to the message than any visuals going on in from of me. This is what I came out with.

In order to become more advanced as humans and as a society, we must constantly shower one another with gifts, and praise each and every individual person for the god/goddess that they are. Some may require more praise and gifts than others, but we should give until people no longer have any insecurities. Once we have healed insecurity, we will begin to understand what it means to be both human and godhead. I saw this vision where these two advanced and enlightened beings convened in one spot in hyperspace, only to begin showering the other with love, gifts, and attention. They each took turns, and both cried out of appreciation of the gifts from the other, in glorious mutual respect and love. Once that was accomplished, the beings sat down cross-legged and began to discuss how to remedy even the worst situations in the universe.

Maybe the path to enlightenment is humility combined with un-conditional love, respect, and praise for our fellow gods and goddesses.

I like the idea of this, could very well work. The only thing I would point out is that maybe the gifts we shower people with should not be material gifts. Maybe gifts of knowledge or even food, something along those lines. As you know America is obsessed with gift giving of material objects and it seems to have created a monster.

As for loving and praising one another, love heals all.

I like this too.

tigerstrike92: you bring us good news! Let me be the first to compliment you for being the conduit of such truly good news. Man, I'm being serious here! Seriously, insecurity is a great ill of our species, across the board. Also, I see myself, and others, so frequently withholding well earned praise. It's confounding.

Share the love y'all.

If I could do this, I'd be afraid that the other one - who gets the gifts - becomes dependent on me.

If the fulfillment was only fleeting, then this kind of thing can bring a lot of pain and suffering.

Or perhaps this is an allegory of returning to our normal state, an equilibrium. Meaning: now we are completely fucked, but there is hope to get back to a balanced state, which is the state requiring the lowest amount of energy, and therefore stable without support. Then it's ok. (It must not be a made-up thing, but something which exists on its own. Healing: removing the obstacles from the path of free energy flow.)

Thank you Tigerstrike, this touches on a lot that I feel at the moment. I believe we should concentrate on looking after each other more. Too much of our time is spent thinking about ourselves, and not enough in showing that we love and appreciate each other. Far too much time is spent burning each other, not extinguishing the flames and looking for a way forward. Happiness cannot be found when we concentrate only on what we want and feel within us.

Down with ego. Very little time left here. Live, love, give, communicate and compromise.

Saying this, many of us will be burnt in this endeavour as this approach needs reciprocation which is often not given. This can possibly be the route to sadness and hurt too.

"It is when the ivory tower of the ego’s ideas falls that we can then embrace a new humility, allowing us to become ever more genuine, compassionate, and real. In this fascinating book, Stuart makes the point that the process of redemption and forgiveness comes from incorporating the Three Graces in one’s heart: tenderness, generosity, and respect."

I must get a copy of this book Smile
The Warrior’s Prayer
"I am what I am. In having faith in the beauty within me I develop trust. In softness I have strength. In silence I walk with the gods. In peace I understand myself and the world. In conflict I walk away. In detachment I am free. In respecting all living things I respect myself. In dedication I honour the courage within me.
In eternity I have compassion for the nature of all things. In love I unconditionally accept the evolution of others. In freedom I have power.
In my individuality I express the God-Force within me. In service I give of what I have become.
I am what I am: Eternal, immortal, universal, and infinite. And so be it"

Thank you all for the kind words. It means a lot to me.

Archaic: I must elaborate. When I said gifts, I did not necessarily mean material gifts. They could also be gifts of respect, love, adoration, music, knowledge / wisdom.

The emphasis was one the interaction between the beings. As many "gifts" as one gave to the other, the other was equally excited and joyous to receive them.

That is beautiful, tigerstrike92. And I believe I know just what you mean.

I have been saying for years that the world would be so good if we would all magnify each other. For instance: I'm a woman. When I am friends with a couple, I do little things all the time to strengthen and reinforce their bond. I do not do catty interfering things like mean high school girls do. If they have a fight, then when speaking to each of them, I try to present how the other one must have been feeling, and remind them of the wonderful things they have together. Like, "Surely she didn't mean to hurt your feelings on purpose. Remember, she had that shit with her job going on and she had no idea that such-and-such had happened to you." And, "Aww, look at that cool thing he did-- he looooves you." (And she always smiles and says, "Yes. He does." )

I always figure that, if I do this for others, perhaps others will do it for me; and promoting happiness in those around you is promoting happiness for yourself.

I used to live in a house with a boyfriend and three other (single) guy roommates. On Valentine's Day morning, I snuck a little wrapped chocolate into each of the roommates' rooms, so that everybody had a Valentine.

When I see a woman or a man looking awesome in a great outfit or a color that looks really good on them, I try whenever possible to tell them so. It is so beautiful to see somebody's face light up; who knows what kind of day they were having, but I like to think maybe that feeling will stay with them.

I know the other day I was buying wine at a corner store, and the young Middle Eastern man behind the counter asked me how old I was. I told him, and he said, "Oh! You look much younger." (I think he had planned to ask me out.) I went home and cooked dinner and I was in such a good mood -- hearing something like that can kinda make your day.

Sorry to be so long-winded; but I absolutely agree with the message. Like I used to tell my son when he was little: It's never the wrong thing to do to be kind.

TigerStrike! ! Synchronicity moment!

Not only was your post sincerely moving.. I marvel at the message DMT can bring forth. Truly enlightening ... the evolution of our species may likely depend on such ideas.

BUT.. then I look at your signature and see this

"Follow the path you have chosen, travelers, you will not regret the outcome, that I can assure you."

Uhm.. I can recognize that line anytime!! That is from my all time favorite old school DMT trip report on Erowid, that's "the one" I use when putting anyone who is remotely curious on.. I'm sure you are aware of this though Smile

Made my night with that! Thanks

With all due respect: I was kidnapped and raped when I was 16. He would have beat me and left me for dead, like he did the first two (I found out later), but I made a plan and got away. I was a geezer* for twenty years; and I've seen all kinds of sick, hateful, ugly things.

* "geezer": IV speed user. As opposed to "junkie." I stopped.

So I can poop rainbows if I want to, and I do not care if anyone thinks that's lame.

I'm just sayin'.
