This isn't a horror story or anything like that. Anyway...

At the beginning of the month, I finally got around to trying the LSA-Everclear I had prepared following three soaks and two defats. I had been reluctant to take it, and perhaps I had good reason. I halved my tincture bottle (of which I still have half left) that had been made from ten HBWR seeds, added cinnamon essential oil, and consumed with a fruit drink. Sure enough, the effects came on in an hour or so and I thought to myself, "Hey it kinda feels like I'm on LSD, but it's definitely not LSD." The effects might have lasted for four hours, which included time dilation, extroversion, and mild euphoria. And for the negative effects: physical discomfort, sedation, nausea, an inability to focus, and an accelerated heart rate or tachycardia for the full four hours. It was peculiar: I experienced a sedative effect but my heart rate was elevated at the same time so neither was as pronounced. My heart was beating very rapidly, and that's not accounting for the fact that I also was experiencing time dilation, so it might have been even faster.

I was rather impressed with LSA, but unfortunately the negative physical side effects outweighed the pay-off. For those who have experience with LSA-containing seeds: are there any ways around these side effects?

Vasodialators help alot with the vasoconstriction. Which based on the negative side affects you are reporting, is prob a big cause of the negative body load.

Theobromine or capsicin containing plants are both good vasodialators, but both stimulative, so idk how that would mesh with the tachycardia you experienced. Theobromine is definataly a heart stimulant so go easy if you do try it. Mabey try some chocolate and see if that helps, perhaps even consider lsa chocolates.

When i finally get around to extracting my RC & HBWR seeds i'm going to try making some chocolates, and definately try the cinnamon oil tek. IIRC, cinnamon is a vasodialator as well. Cannabis is another good vasodialator, but once again can amplify the tachardia.

In a society in which nearly everybody is dominated by somebody else's mind or by a disembodied mind, it becomes increasingly difficult to learn the truth about the activities of governments and corporations, about the quality or value of products, or about the health of one's own place and economy.
In such a society, also, our private economies will depend less upon the private ownership of real, usable property, and more upon property that is institutional and abstract, beyond individual control, such as money, insurance policies, certificates of deposit, stocks, etc. And as our private economies become more abstract, the mutual, free helps and pleasures of family and community life will be supplanted by a kind of displaced citizenship and by commerce with impersonal and self-interested suppliers...
The great enemy of freedom is the alignment of political power with wealth. This alignment destroys the commonwealth - that is, the natural wealth of localities and the local economies of household, neighborhood, and community - and so destroys democracy, of which the commonwealth is the foundation and practical means.โ€ - Wendell Berry

Personally I think it's the HBWR that is the culprit....I have taken heavenly blue morning glories for years and never had any bad trouble like what HBWR can do...

HBWR is not a substance that has a history of entheogenic use like morning glories do IMO they are not proven safe or effective in comparison with morning glories wich have a thousand year old (atleast) history of use. )Other than in vedic medicine, but I don't believe HBWR used for their psychdedlic properties in vedic medicine) HBWR has only been used to trip on since the 60's as far as I am aware and even though they are technically more potent than MG seeds they also technically "suck" in my opinion compared to good old reliable morning glory seeds..

An experience with well grown fresh morning glory is very, very similar to LSD and does not make you sleepy/foggy and what not.

Perhaps fresh HBWR is better than dried as well but I'm pretty sure it would still be way rougher by comparison to fresh MG seeds.

HBWR contains amounts small amounts of cyanide like compounds. Ths may be why they are so toxic
And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not percieve the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, "brother let me remove the speck from your eye", when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye?-Yeshua ben Yoseph

Cinnamon Essential Oil contains cinnemaldehyde. This may form an tasty adduct with LSA; creating a fast come-up with increased visuals and potency at the price, perhaps, of being a bit less mentally entheogenic. May combo well with lswhatever.

I don't think vasoconstriction is a problem when using Cinnamon essential oil. Vasodilation might occur.

I think a new flavor (the taste came on well in the hour) and there is not much known about it. I have also experienced some shortening of breath/bronchoconstriction with the CEO mixture; but never vasoconstriction.

The sedation you experienced was probably due to incomplete reaction. I bet the next dose will have have a more "stimulating effect"; or less sedating if the CEO is in the tincture.

Adducts form best with cold temperatures and agitation.Thumbs up

For nausea prevention; besides filtering well one could pre-dose lemon essential oil or ginger root. 5 drops in olive oil in a capsule usually ~<3o mins prior.

I dunno how to calm a racing heart; soothing music perhaps? I hear vasodialators slow heartbeat; so I really don't know what kind of cinnamon you are using there are a couple kinds....

Blessings.

You can significantly reduce body load by making a purer extract. With a clean extract there is almost no negative bodyload. There are many different alkaloids in HBWR, many of which produce vasoconstriction and bodyload. So the more of those that are cleaned out the less of the negative effects you get.

The unpleasant physical effects (other than psychedelic phenomena) can be completely eliminated by preparing your LSA brew properly. Also, if you use HWBR for consumption without first doing a complete extraction, you're likely in for a lot of discomfort.

My favorite way to prepare it is to simply brew it in a strong lemon or lime tea (regardless of dose, a regular teacup full of citrus tea that is strong enough to taste very sour, but not so strong it tastes like vomit). Flour some morning glory seeds (or HBWR if you're brave) in a coffee grinder and stir into the tea once it's warm, and simmer while stirring for fifteen minutes. Don't let it boil. Then simply pour off the liquid through a strainer, leaving all the seed matter, slime and murkier tea behind. Drink with honey, mint or whatever you like for taste. Sit calmly and for an hour (meditate, listen to music, nap, whatever), and then go about your business. There may be some slight stomach discomfort if your brew is too acidic. If so, just relax and wait it out for that hour and eat something light and simple and drink plenty of water. This will pass very quickly unless you dwell on it.
