I guess you can't expect the media to do ANY fact checking now a days, even if its spending 30 seconds doing a google search. And a full blown hazmat team for some lye solutions and NP solvents?
I understand that they take all necessary precautions when deconstructing "labs", but anyone with a brain could have figured out that is way overkill if they asked the occupants what chems were in those jars.
Still, seeing that many big jars, makes you wonder if it was an extraction lab for someone dealing it. Seeing how they got caught, i'm guessing these dudes weren't the sharpest knives in the kitchen.
Still feel bad they are most likely going to prison though. Every time i see these stories all i think about is how much of my tax dollars are being wasted on this BS, when they could be used to help society rather than punish those who harm none but themselves, if at all.
