Im wondering what combining the two would be like? i feel that san pedro is more energetic than the sedating bridgesii. Any experience?

when you say san pedro, you could mean any of a plethora of different cacti. achuma is considered san pedro aswell. if you are referring to t pachanoi as san pedro and t bridgesii as achuma, that combination would be a mix of the two just like if you smoked 2 different types of cannabis, its not entirely different from either but theres bound to be some unique aspects that arise from its complimentary alkaloids

Not speaking from personal experience but I imagine they would synergize nicely together....

being an achuma enthusiast my opinion is that you would be diluting the achuma with a lesser medicine. however there are many pachanoi that have much higher alkaloid concentrations than bridgesii, but i havent found any in the united states that are superior. admittedly i havent looked considering just how strong bridgesii is, comparitively to my pachanoi experiences where it was significantly weaker.

theres something to be said for synergistic alkaloids however. what might be interesting would be extract as many different trichocereus as possible and combine the salts in different ratios, i feel this would be the most effective way to achieve maximum synergistic effects.

thanks for the idea

the mix is good.
a mix of several different pachanoi and bridg (5 total) invoked good teachings from pedro. no problem. there was no interference -- balanced and pure pedro medicine. Combing cacti adds another dimension of numerology to play with as well if youre into that. I've known people to not utilize 6-ribbed cacti for numerological reasons--for example.

one cactictioner does lighter pulls with more material and dehydrates in between brews--adding fresh material to the dry already used material for the next batch. this avoids long cooks and minimizes slime. complete drying is important. also this cactitioner says the sun or wood-fire dry adds flavor and reduces slime by some sort of curing/cooking action. his tea did have a flavor incomparable to tea produced by the more common strong pulls- lighter, more flowery, and not at all a slimy experience. he was all for the mix on so many levels, that i would bet anything if he had access to different cacti he would mix them, but he only has good access to one variety.

I never get slime in my brews, i just boil it down 1 big time with a full pot of water and dont stir it at all. It stirs itself and comes out nice and clean this way

They go together very well.
