anrchy wrote: Well I havent given up hope, but unfortunately all I got was a raging headache. I had woken up at 9:45am and forced myself to go back to sleep since i couldnt remember any dreams. I did dream after that, but it was extremely light and I can only remember one image and its so blurry I have no idea what I am looking at.
Whats strange to me is the style of headache. Its EXACTLY the same type of headache I get when I wake up in the morning after eating mushrooms, drinking alcohol, or taking opioid based pills like vicodin or percacet.
I am definitely beginning to think my body chemistry is out of whack. The headache is a shear sign that something is being effected in a similiar fashion. One think I want to note is that I have what seems like a perma tolerance to pills. I didnt always, it took time to build.
The thing is I wasnt a pill popper. Maybe for 5-6 months I could have been labeled, but I didnt take them EFVERYDAY, alot of times i had a week or two inbetween a couple weeks of binging. And this all went on for 2 years. My tolerance for Hydrocodone (vicodin, norcos) never went down. If you get the same type of headache the day after ingesting shrooms, alcohol, and opiates, maybe you were simply dehydrated. Or, like you said, maybe you body is out of balance/harmony. The cigarettes, alcohol, cheeseburgers and fries, and chicken alfredo is not good for your body or mind. Quote:I have to take 10+mg of vicodin to feel ANYTHING, and If i wanted to get high I would ave to take 15-20mg and it would always result in a sever headache. Percacet dosages are the same, 15-20mg. Severe headache. I never got headaches. And even though I havent taken any pills for quite sometime it still take that much.
How do I get opioids out of my body? like in a flush or something? Your tolerance to opioids doesn't sound like it's really that high, and they would be out of your system in a few days anyways. I wouldn't bother with a flush, or any other quick fixes for that matter. Diet and lifestyle changes are the only way to balance out mind, body, and spirit.

Has somebody experience with Ibuprofen and dreams? 400mg of Ibuprofen gives me a 100% chance for vivid dreams. Had a massive headache the other day and tried to override it with 800mg. Didn't work, so I went to the Spa and got a 20min massage + 3 hours of relaxing in warm water. The headache was gone and the dreams were very vivid afterwards. Talking about a 747 going to crash within a +-100m radius and experiencing it live.

After over a year of not taking any pills and I still have to take 15mg of hydrocodones is quite a bit. I can take a full 30mg oxycodone and just feel great but not over board. Yet my gf who has been taking pain meds for 10 years off and on, her tolerance drops when she hasn't had any and 5 mg hydrocodone actually do something for her. Also I drink tons of water. Much more than the average person so I already factored that out. Like I said it was a normal day and I definitely had a hangover on top of the headache. THe real test though will be my next dose. I'm going to use only one drop. Ibuprofen doesn't do a whole lot for me except help swelling. Excedrin is te only thing that helps my headaches. Unfortunately I have to settle for the knock offs since they quit making excedrin after the big mess up. So why don't you try to wear a nicotine patch again? Obviously it worked for you.

I don't have any experience with substances for improving dream recall or any great ideas for improving your dream recall in what may likely be your current sleep schedule. So I apologize for that. I have, however, been able to alter my sleep schedule to insure a dream occurs (quite vividly) and almost always remember it. Many of these have been what I think are "lucid dreams" or where I tend to realize "hey, I'm dreaming" and then continue to do whatever it is I would like to do in whatever dream I'm in. My method isn't a technique so much as a forced schedule shift that ended up having greatly positive results. I was skeptical to share here for that reason, but last 'night' I dreamed I smoked DMT and had a weeiiiiiiiird experience. So I figure DMT Nexus - Dream Recall thread was my next stop. I'll stop teasing now and get to the point already... I sleep for ~4 hours, wake up and do physical activity for ~4 hours, and then go back to sleep for ~4 hours. During my first sleep I have no dreams, just sleep and then wake up. During my second sleep I have a dream and remember it almost every single night. Many of them I realize I am dreaming which is a blast. I used to have great dream recall until my mid-teens, then moved on to the occasional remembered dream. It wasn't until I moved to this sleep schedule that it came back in such full force. Last night's dream was especially weird because about 6 months ago I had a dream where I was administering a dose of DMT to someone in my dream. In my dream I debated smoking it myself, but decided not to for whatever reason (I was not lucid dreaming). Then this morning, during my second sleep, I find myself actually smoking DMT in my dream! I felt like my mind gently exploded and inverted itself into hyperspace, but I could see SO MUCH MORE than normal hyperspace. I felt like a GIANT in hyperspace where I usually feel so tiny compared to everything there. Ah shit, off-topic like no other. If you get a chance to try to "first-sleep, second-sleep" thing, I'd definitely recommend it. Perhaps a short run of the schedule may spark the dream recall you need for your normal schedule? Just speculating here. Ufostrahlen wrote:So why don't you try to wear a nicotine patch again? Obviously it worked for you. Nicotine patches certainly work. I believe the labels still read, "Warning: May cause vivid dreams." Personally my dream recall dropped back down to occasionally remembered after finishing my patches. The inner soul is full of joy. Reveal my secrets and sew me whole. With each day, "I" heeds your call. You may not care the slightest and may not be the brightest, but from here "I" sees you're mighty for you created it all.
And the jumbling sea rose above the wall.
Through this chaos comes the order you enthrall.

The ones I have are from Novartis and they say at the possible side-effects section: abnormal dreams Can't wait to have an abnormal dream tonight - chances are good, dropped 684mg of ibuprofen-lysinate + wearing a 17,5mg patch.

Ya the problem with patches are that they only work "while" wearing them. And the cost for a nights worth of dreams isnt justifiable IMO. Thanks for the advice though. (on second thought if i can get my hands on a single patch somehow I will def try it out, maybe it would help initiate my dreams again) VIII: thanks for your post, thats pretty cool you designed your own technique by creating a sleep schedule. I have noticed that I do get more dreams than usual after falling back to sleep, a couple nights since I made this post I know I dreamed due to this, but the recall isnt enough to be able to know what I was dreaming. I think my schedule definitely has something to do with it. I also believe my attention to dreaming plays quite a major role. I notice since creating this thread my likely hood of dream recall has increased for sure. I thank the member who posted about attention. I also think that I may be missing or am lacking some kind of nutrient, but have factored out acetylcholine. The supplements did nothing, and I took a few different forms of it. I accidentally forgot the calea at home before leaving for the beach so I will have to wait till sunday night to try and dose with that again. I am extremely tired right now and it is effecting my ability to explain using words correctly So I will end with that. The beach is so amazing right now, I needed this vacation really bad. I feel at peace in such an amazing way right now. I am sending this awesome mindset im in, your guys's way! Awesome vibes for you guys! They are indeed ridiculously expensive. But after dreaming wildly last night it doesn't matter that much to me. It definitively beats going to the movies. I mean, when do you have the chance of hanging upside down a railing with nothing left but the abyss below you. Not one of my normal daytime activities. Fun story: I also met this 'pirate' lady in my dreams again, who I first met on the day I bought my nicotine patches. I was so bored that day and thought: man I really want to have a breakthrough with "lucid" dreaming - let's buy some nicotine patches. Shortly after that, I met this girl, whose name was "Lucia" and she told me that her uncle was a shaman. But I'm sure that I'm the only one who doesn't see the mere coincidence. Quote:(on second thought if i can get my hands on a single patch somehow I will def try it out, maybe it would help initiate my dreams again) BTW people on eBay sometimes sell their unused patches for a couple of bucks.

Ok so last night I took 1 drop in water. It was nasty. The cranberry juice does wonders to cover the taste. Anyways, I can sense my dreams as if they are a distant memory but no recall. Slight head pressure of the same type, but very light. I'm gonna dose 1 drop again tonight after I get home from work. I'm gonna try this for a couple more nights and if I don't get anything I'll stop the experiment. Thanks for all your help guys. But I'm starting to lose hope "Energy flows where attention goes" [Please review the forum Wiki and FAQ before posting questions]

Ok so I ended up not dosing the calea. As the day drug on yesterday I felt kind of nauseous. My head was foggy again and I wasn't feeling like I got good sleep. I had picked up some sinex spray to see if it would help my nasal congestion. When I woke up I felt refreshed and my nose was super clear. I laid there for a sec and started to recall the end of one of my dreams. I was on some sort of large property with a mansion. There were a lot of people like as if it were a drug cartels house or something. I was being briefed for a mission. I was to go inside and collect as many bottle of E-Cig juice as possible and stuff them in my pockets and get away clean. I snuck into the house. It was day time. After some searching and avoiding gettin caught I found a desk drawer jam packed with all kinds of em. Some flavored ones that said "buffalo wild wings flavor" and the juice was that weird orange buffalo sauce. There were other favors but I cannot remember what. Anyways I managed to get outside but was followed. I snuck into a barn that was massive and had many many rooms with doors. The floor was covered with yellow straw. I couldn't find a way out. I kept going into this one room that had an ocelot that was tied up to a post in the middle of the room. Each time I told myself, quit going in there that cat is gonna get you. Each time he growled at me and started to get up to attack. I finally made it out a door and was running through a field. Right then I could see myself in 3rd person. lol I had LONG golden blonde hair (Not in IRL) and was wearing a Tarzan outfit. Weird. Usually I look like myself in dreams. I think my nasal blockage has something to do with dream recall. Gonna dose up some more sinex before bed, hopefully get some more dreamin! Sounds like you should try out "E-Cig juice" for dream recall. In your case with some BBQ sauce I always wondered whether 'instant' oral nicotine works like permanently distributed nicotine. Maybe the half-life of 1 to 2 hours should be enough to trigger dream recall. Therefore 2mg of oral nicotine before going to sleep will be one of my next experiments.

I know that nicotine can be fairly toxic even at low doses. I have no idea the amount of nicotine you get per "drag" but I bet it's less than 2mg. And possibly 2mg orally would be too much? I might be completely wrong btw. "Energy flows where attention goes" [Please review the forum Wiki and FAQ before posting questions]

According to Wikipedia, the smoke of one cigarette contains ~0,9 mg nicotine. I'm not a smoker, but on the cigarette packet should be a declaration. Furthermore there are nicotine gums with 2 mg and 4 mg concentrations. But you are right, 2 mg for a nonsmoker might be a little bit high, I'll start with 1 mg and work my way up.

My friend has invested in a project on kickstart called the REM enhancing Lucid dreaming mask. I will also be investing in one! Basically it's a sleeping mask, with lights built into it which activate when you're dreaming from eye movement, i believe. This could help you to remember your dreams but will basically make you aware that you're dreaming making it lucid I think it's a great idea and can't wait to get my hands on one!! http://www.kickstarter.c...d-dreaming-mask?ref=cardThe Warrior’s Prayer "I am what I am. In having faith in the beauty within me I develop trust. In softness I have strength. In silence I walk with the gods. In peace I understand myself and the world. In conflict I walk away. In detachment I am free. In respecting all living things I respect myself. In dedication I honour the courage within me. In eternity I have compassion for the nature of all things. In love I unconditionally accept the evolution of others. In freedom I have power. In my individuality I express the God-Force within me. In service I give of what I have become. I am what I am: Eternal, immortal, universal, and infinite. And so be it"

How are the calea trials going? It's extremely abnormal that you're still having this issue. Maybe you just aren't remembering your dreams? This is usually the case when ppl state they do not dream... "Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored." -A.Huxley

This is usually the case when ppl state they do not dream... I had to end the trials. I would take the calea before bed and the next day i would feel hungover, slight to severe headache, and some nausea as well. I know this sounds completely abnormal and strange, but i promise that i am very sure its from the calea. Last night a friend let me taste some glycerin Pot tincture. It was a small amount that he said wouldnt produce any effects. It tasted sweet and had a warming sensation. I could also taste the pot. It ended up making me quite high actually, i had only slightly dipped the tip of my pinky into it, yet the high came on in about 10 minutes and was very pleasant and unique. I had about 100 dreams last night, but forgot to catalog them in my brain when I awoke, I was very tired as I had a long day yesterday of riding quads in the sand, and laid in bed drowsy for a couple hours in and out of sleep this morning. I think if I hadnt been so beat yesterday i would have remembered my dreams better. I also find it strange that marijuana consistently increases my dream recall and the calea does not. I still thank you, A1pha, for your input. You've been informative, and your intentions are well received. As soon as it comes in I'll give a full report But as for the Galantamine, Im not sure if its working, I used it for a week straight, and I only remember seeing visuals once, but oddly it was when I was still awake. I havent noticed any change during actual sleep. "Your mind is like a parachute, it only works when its open"
