It is very interesting , just finished watching it. I think I understand a bit the feeling these people must go through. I see it like being overloaded by lost of data not knowing how to deal with it. Like she said when she looks at someones face shes seeing 100s of images at once that's why they do not like to look at peoples faces. It is really interesting. Like they are kind of slowed down by this dimension they were born into. The imput is so fast that they have to react someway which leads to their unpredictable behavior. As shown in the video.

Maybe I'm just talking crap here but this is the way I see these beautiful people.

Who says they couldn't be in the same situation as this girl.Maybe because of some severe nerve damage or brain damage they can't express themselves.

And I doubt any brain activity scans could show something like that.

So I had ayahuasca last night and LSD today. I was tripping and looking through the nexus whn I came across this. It was indescribably moving, I'm not the least bit ashamed to say it put me in tears. I'm sure It would have been just as moving if I were not tripping right now.....

That is incredibly fascinating and touching.. In a way it's like a modern case of elephant man.. Really makes you think that maybe there's a tormented awareness inside everyone that society has previously considered mentally retarded or a "vegetable". They just can't bring their voice to the surface.

Also the fact that they try to block input with output, and that they take 100 pictures of peoples faces and take conversations all at once is just so damn interesting.. It's like I can totally imagine what that feels like, and when reading stuff like this I can't help think that psychedelics, schizophrenia, autism, etc.. that it's all connected in some very familiar way. I just can't put my finger on what it is ...

Thanks guys! When I saw this video I knew you guys would want to see it. The part where the father was talking about what she meant to him and how they at one point had thoughts of sending her to a home or whatever but then said "I couldn't give up my child" it made such an impact in my heart. And the things that she said were soooo moving that I had to watch it more than once.

It also made me extremely sad, when the father admitted to speaking in front of her like she wasn't there. You know this happens a lot and some people can say some damaging things. I know he probably didn't say anything harsh, but other people definitely have. These people are normal people who were given sh#*ty brains.

I love seeing things like this. Gives you a feeling inside your body like no other. I wish nothing but good things for you guys and every one on this planet!

Thank you so much for posting this. I have a 4 year old daughter that acts just like this. Doctors have been reluctant to call what she has Autism since whatever it is, she's had it from birth. But this Carly had her condition from birth also.

It's so easy to convince yourself that the glimpses you get of her smirking at a joke, or getting angry when you talk about her like she's not there are just wishful thinking on your part. It's easy to just look at her and assume she's more or less an empty shell.

I felt that that wasn't true, but when what you see tells you there's not much there and there's no communication from her to say anything different...

After watching this I could believe I had a completely normal daughter in that poor little body again. A normal one with normal feelings. When I treated her that way. When I treated her like she was just like all the rest of us, and ignored the odd behaviors as something she just had to do, she reacted so well to it. She was smiling and laughing all day long. Like she was so proud I had finally seen her in there.

Anyway thanks again for posting this, and thanks to Carly for speaking out because it makes a real difference.

This made me cry. I wish you and your daughter all the love and blessings you could possibly handle! Your daughter is perfect, and is very lucky to have you to guide her through life. People like you give me the energy to continue waking up each day to try to have a positive affect on this world that seems to be in so much pain.

Applebaum, I had no idea my post would reach someone in such a way. I'm speechless. Thank you for sharing, I'm so happy for you. Is this a new begining for you and your daughter? Maybe your daughter can someday reach you in the same way that carly did for her parents? Has your daughter watched the video or is that something she should see?

I want words to express to you for how I am currently feeling but I cannot find them. I feel that wishing you luck and great fortune are minuscule in comparison to what I want for you and your daughters life.
